  KYO KARA MAOH-92-MOON REFLECTED IN WATER   This show is so different and this episode reflects why I love it so much. It’s a warm show and usually mind swap episodes of shows are cliché, boring, and exhausting. This is none of those things. It’s a warm bond between Yuri and his brother Shori is examined in both the present and in a flashback to the Christmas when younger Yuri asked Shori to give him the moon as a present and Shori found a way. Much humor comes from Shori getting a game and though things might be lost in translation because it looks like Yuri as Shori is jerking himself off and the game is about girls (?) but more humor comes from the fact that Shori uses Conrad (who knew immediately that the boys had switched bodies but tells Wolfram if both Yuri and Shori thought not to tell them yet who was he to reveal it?) and Wolfram as servants to massage him.   KYO KARA MAOH-season three: overall numbers 90 and 91-   THE HERO AND THREE SWORDS Yuri, while visiting Caloria, was attacked by members of the White Crow but fortunately was saved by Al while Wolfram and Conrad were busy fighting. It turns out that the White Crow had been in pursuit of Al for quite a while to obtain the sword that Al had with him. Jeneus appeared while they were staying and demand that the three swords to be handed over or else Caloria would be destroyed. Yuri later discovered with dismay that the whole thing was a delusion and was determined to get the swords back.   Small Shimaron's King Saralegi While trying to obtain the swords, Yuri and co. were tricked and attacked by the White Crows. Fortunately, Saralegi turns up and releases them from the trap. They then pursue the Jeneus in order to get back the swords.   KYO KARA MAOH-season three: overall numbers 88 and 89   88-Conrad and Günter   Yuri and co. visits the academy where Conrad trained to become a soldier. After Yuri gives a speech which no one really understood, Conrad challenged Günter to a duel where Conrad gives his answer to a question that Günter asked him a long time ago.   Okay so this is a really good, touching episode and at least has Yuri in it, even if as a side character giving a speech that Wolfram doesn’t understand. Not sure why but it’s about team work and working as a team and of course, Yuri uses baseball to tell the story. BUT this is really Conrart (and annoyingly the subtitles call him Conrad and Conrart) and Lord Gunter Von Christ (is that HIS name?). The art is nice. I love that Conrad’s mother, the Demon Queen comes to visit him and cares about all her sons.   The back story here is welcome, warm and even if predictable, much needed and wanted.   KYO KARA MAOH-SEASON THREE: 86-CAPTURED DEMON KING and 87-BLACK GENEUS   The first episode here was so exciting I had to watch the second. One must note unique colorful and original design of the arena, the stands, and the buildings around them. There is nothing quite like the originality of these designs. Yuri, captured, spends time in a cell where Geneus seems genuine about helping him escape but Yuri decides to have faith in his friends rather than trust a stranger. Later, in the arena, Murata tells him that Geneus is an enemy and not to trust him at all. Conrad is supposed to execute Yuri when Conrad’s plan to rescue Yuri as the rightful heir (and only surviving one thanks to the plots of Langille and Geneus who seemed to have “disposed of” all previous hiers---does this include the uncle?) seems to go awry and he and all Yuri’s friends end up in the arena trying to rescue him where esoteric magic has slowed their progress but a deliberate hole was left open so they ...
