Wally Helvey's DARK SHADOWS CONTINUES fan fiction

Image
A fan of DARK SHADOWS, Wally Helvey has created a DARK SHADOWS CONTINUES fan fiction, written in the style of the fanzines that Kathleen Resch used to produce, synopsis style. This series thus far has taken the show from the cancellation episode, that being 1245 through to an ending of sorts (though it may continue past that once Wally returns to that episode) starting at episode 1246 and going to 1510 (for now, it may go past that). Wally posts new and updated episodes roughly every Friday on the DARK SHADOWS APPRECIATION FB group. Highly recommended for DS fans and horror fans. Other continuations include a Dale Clark series of fan novels that have yet been finished (with Dale showing NO signs of ever taking them up again to complete the rest of the series) and my own which is a "What If DS Were Never Cancelled and Exists in 2026 to this Day?" project. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1659238900971971

DARK SHADOWS  583 “Willie! If you touch that body, I will kill you!”   “I do know that Barnabas wouldn’t do anything to harm me.”   Vicki. The sleeping house seems to be at peace. The circular machine does not look as violet. Different reprise. Willie grabs the sheet. Barnabas stops him, “If you touch that body, I will kill   you.”    Pause, credits.     He also says CollinSwood. Willie talks to Barnabas about Maggie. Willie tells him to use Julia, use Vicki. He asks what Maggie ever did to him. Barnabas tells him she is the most available. He reminds Willie that Willie helped him to try to convert Maggie into Josette before he fancied himself in love with her.     Willie worries some more and tells Barnabas he’ll get another girl for him. Barnabas counters, “You trust Julia, you trust me.”   Willie will promise not to interfere with the experiment if Barnabas promises not to use Maggie. Barnabas will no...

Star Trek Storylines That Disappeared Without Explanation

Star Trek Storylines That Disappeared Without Explanation BY DYLAN ROTH    AUG. 2, 2021 5:04 PM EST   Paramount Pictures When the original "Star Trek" series premiered in 1966, audiences didn't have much reason to expect long-running story arcs or a strict continuity from a television series. With very few exceptions, each episode of the original "Trek" introduces its own new alien cultures, planets, and guest stars whose stories are tied up neatly in about 50 minutes. Even major character developments like the death of a loved one or having your entire memory permanently erased by an evil space probe are totally forgotten in the next episode, and that was totally normal by the standards of 1960s television.   This had changed by the time "Star Trek" made the leap to the big screen in 1979 and returned to TV in 1986. Reruns and home video had made viewing audiences more sophisticated — they had a memory, now the stories had to as well. ...

Unresolved Plotlines In Star Trek: The Next Generation or why STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION sucks

Image
Unresolved Plotlines In Star Trek: The Next Generation I always know somehow that THE NEXT GENERATION was usually bad writing and boring dialog as well as having a lot of avenues opened up that were huge dead ends. This article I found explain a lot of why I felt that way. I don't profess to know a lot about TREK's universe, it's disappointed me so often, I bailed and found other fandoms and TV shows and movies and books that filled the huge void this disappointing franchise (especially in the 1990s left for me). If anyone know that any of these were resolved (other than Guinan's stuff, cause I really don't care about anything to do with dog killer supporter Whoopi and her support of dog killer Micheal Vick), let me know. Were some of these resolved after this article was written? Were some resolved in comics and novels or somewhere else?  Did the writers of NEXT GENERATION care about what they were writing? At all?  Here it is: ©Paramount Domestic Television L...
