KYO KARA MAOH-season three: overall numbers 90 and 91-

 

THE HERO AND THREE SWORDS

Yuri, while visiting Caloria, was attacked by members of the White Crow but fortunately was saved by Al while Wolfram and Conrad were busy fighting. It turns out that the White Crow had been in pursuit of Al for quite a while to obtain the sword that Al had with him. Jeneus appeared while they were staying and demand that the three swords to be handed over or else Caloria would be destroyed. Yuri later discovered with dismay that the whole thing was a delusion and was determined to get the swords back.

While trying to obtain the swords, Yuri and co. were tricked and attacked by the White Crows. Fortunately, Saralegi turns up and releases them from the trap. They then pursue the Jeneus in order to get back the swords. Yuri and Al managed to get their swords back but the third sword was still missing.

 

These two episodes get the plot moving again and with lots of action and one big creepy giant monster (mirage?) and Geneus back. Once more we see minions die by sword as Al fights them. I’m guessing my question about the OVA fitting into the seasons is answered as it appears that Yuri and Sara NEVER MET IN THE SERIES until now. The two appears to be two separate entities that do not tie into each other in one story. In fact the third season might be seen as a remake of some of the stuff in the OVAs. Once more Wolfram gets sick on sea travel. Not sure what else to say about these two fun episodes but they are entertaining, move fast and have lots of action. Oh, and it’s fun to notice almost all the other characters noticing how Yuri can get along with anyone, here with older people of Caloria. He’s one of fiction’s greatest characters IMO.

 

BTW Sara seems to have a hard on for meeting Yuri, well not really but you get the idea while his bodyguard Berius has seemed to have a hard on for fighting Conrad for quite a few episodes now and Conrad agrees it will probably happen, though he's not particularly wanting it to but up for it.

"Let me do the talking, Willie."   KLS. No reprise.   Willie runs to the Old House and yells for Barnabas. He tells him what’s happened. About one half hour ago, Maggie escaped. And…it’s …cute!   Vicki comes in and I must say they finally have her look just right: she has never looked more pretty, her hair looks great, and her muscle tone is just right. Hmmm, yeah.
