“Remember Barnabas, Vicki first, and then one by one everyone at Collinwood will die.”

 

“I won’t be safe no matter where I am.”

 

 

 

 

Vicki. Different reprise. No new material before the credits. Barnabas mentions to Julia how she could think she could fool him of all people. He wants to destroy Tom and asks her where he is. Julia: “I don’t know.” 

 

 

She couldn’t answer his questions about Tom even if she wanted to. He wants to take her to the Old House and lock her up. He flubs, “Come to me to the Old House.” 

 

 

Julia is not functioning and cannot do the experiment now. Vicki and Jeff on the terrace stumble upon a snooping Adam. Jeff attacks Adam and is thrown down and hurts his head. Adam flees as Vicki yells for help.

 

Barnabas and Julia rush to them. Vicki explains and Barnabas asks what Adam was doing here. Vicki answers, “IDK!”

 

Julia says they have to get Jeff into the house and then right after tells Jeff not to move yet!?

 

 

Vicki remembers how Adam attacked her. BUT  how did Jeff know? After everyone departs, the camera lingers on the terrace set for a bit longer than it should. Jeff calls the police and gets an IDK The sheriff told him he only has six men but is sending them all up here to search. Jeff had his hunch about Adam a week ago. He asks Vicki about her kidnapping by Adam. At one point, she says, “IDK.” 

 

Vicki remembers that at one point Adam told her, “You will help me.”   When Jeff asks what that could possibly mean, Vicki’s reply is IDK. Jeff is going to leave to check on something about his hunch about Adam. He will not tell her where he is going.

 

 

He and Vicki kiss.

 

 

Vicki follows him to outside the doors of Collinwood and he vows to tell her everything as soon as he gets back. He kisses her twice more. When she goes back inside, she touches her mouth (wiping it?).

 

 

Old House basement: Adam has a new jacket? Adam hides. I don’t know if that hanging stuff is the lab equipment or a mike. Adam comes out, touches the controls on the equipment and accidentally hits his head on one of the hanging things (it looks like a mirror or light). He smashes a glass. He confronts Barnabas and Julia when they come down. Barnabas says, “IDK where you’ve been hiding but sooner or later your luck is going to run out on you.”

 

 

It has been two weeks since Barnabas agreed to give Adam a mate. Julia tries to explain that with this experiment there are many things that “I don’t understand.”  They tell him Julia is sick.

 

 

He will give them four weeks and he repeats his threats, “Remember Barnabas, Vicki first and then one by one everyone at Collinwood will die.” 

 

NOTE: it makes me wonder why they don’t tell him the truth about Tom and his attack on Julia. Maybe Adam can find Tom?

 

 

After he goes, Barnabas sits down and Julia puts her hand on his shoulder.

 

Jeff sees Adam leaving the Old House. Barnabas will keep Julia in Josette’s room. He puts the candles out in the drawing room. 

 

 

Jeff finds the Old House doors locked. Jeff gets in the Old House via a window. We hear what sounds like GODZILLA music. No kidding. It is also a variation on previous DS music.

 

Jeff voice over. A scraping sound. Jeff finds the body.

 

 

NOTE: HOW did they move Lang’s equipment into the Old House without anyone seeing?

 

Barnabas comes out of the corner---what? Is he a vampire again? No. Just lurking. “Yes, Mr. Clark, we’re going to create another one.”  

 

Review: A bit better. But…still more of the same. Same Adam threats. One really can feel for Barnabas at times and that is due to Frid and Grayson’s acting.

 

Towards the end of Adam’s scene in the Old House basement, as he threatens to come back sometimes and make sure that Barnabas doesn’t forget about him, you can hear people walking around in the studio.

During Jeff’s thinks in act 4, when he’s supposed to be all alone in the Old House basement, there’s a scraping sound from just offstage. Jeff turns, startled, and then pretends that he didn’t notice it.
