You know how some of the McCoy stories were “throw in
everything but the kitchen sink” ahead of their time and you hated them when you
first saw them as incomprehensible low level garbage but they were really just
a bit ahead of their time, sort of and you start to like them after reading
what they were really about and what was really behind them (I don’t mean the
shit like HAPPINESS PATROL and DRAGONFIRE, those suck)? I mean GHOSTLIGHT and CURSE
OF FENRIC and possibly the bizarre BATTLEFIELD?
YEAH this season and the last one weren’t like that. They will
never grow on me with time and will never be thought of as ahead of the time,
unless a moron bomb goes all misty on us and makes us all impossibly dull and
uneducated buffoons who like crap TV that’s so bad, it’s not even MST worthy to be
riffed bad or not bad it’s funny. DW this season especially is NOT funny. Last
season, too.

The total deconstruction of whatever good Donna was, turning
her into a nag hag idiot self centered total moron. And a wimpy David Doctor
who lets others insult him cause he has dangly bits.
Wild Blue Yonder-- 9/10
Weird and wonderful but a bit over the top. Gains two or
three points for finally admitting the Doctor is gay and has been all along.
The Giggle --1/10
Toymaker once he enters our realm does not act like the Toymaker,
using a laser cannon and not sticking to his own rules. And then the worst: the
bi generation. Deconstruction of regeneration, one of the best things about DW
was the regenerations and now those are gone?
Children in Need: Davros ---0/10
Seeing Davros before he was crippled was interesting but
David’s Doctor here is obnoxious and the explanation that Davros will no longer
be in a chair and no longer crippled earns this a 0.
Church on Ruby Road: 8/10
A good start, eye opening new Doctor. Gatwa, unlike later, impresses.
Space Babies 0/10
Snot monster who is evil and then not; babies that can do
all that; shit propelled space station; bad script
Devil's Chord 0/10
Inconsistent villain, Doc cries again, Doc afraid, then not?
Doc fails to win.
Boom 1/10
Moffat sucks! Doc doesn’t believe in faith but uses it, Doc
as God, ambulances as villains, a war with aliens no one knows anything about?
And a few people die and return to life including Ruby. The worst.
73 Yards 1/10
Great set up but no explanation. Stupid events, unexplained plot,
stupid plot, unexplained events. Doc does not want to find out about something.
Cheap one room set.
Dot and Bubble 8/10
Well it has problems but the twist and the creepy monsters
make it worth watching. Ricky is great and should be the next Doctor, not that
girl that returns yet again in a gimmick, Ricky should still be alive. I also
have issues with EVERYONE being racist in a colony AND with racists being
stupid in more than just their racism. The problem is that they would, or some
of them would GO with the Doctor and then turn on him later because he is
black.
Rogue 8/10
A few issues here, too, like the Doc is kissing while Ruby
is in deadly danger. BUT a love story with two gay men and one of them being
the Doctor? Hell, yes.
Legend of Ruby Road 4/10
What? What? What? Boring.
Empire of Death (even the title is not original; hey, can I
give negative numbers?): 0/10
Sutek wants to know Ruby’s real mom’s name? Sutek pulled
behind the TARDIS while wearing a collar and leash? A leash that fell from the
TARDIS ceiling? Ruby’s mom is no one after that build up? Ruby is just a baby
left in the freezing cold? No, no, and no.
JOY TO THE WORLD---3/10

Moffat wrote it. It’s shit. A few interesting bits but
again, no.
ROBOT REVOLUTION --- 8/10 (generous)
Belinda’s a traitor several times. Still, visually okay,
even stunning but Flash Gordon never fails to get higher points.
LUX---4/10 (possibly a 5/10)
Monster defeats…itself.
THE WELL-- 2/10 (and that’s very generous)
That is not the monster from MIDNIGHT. The Doc acts stupid,
lets the monster out, mostly cause he wants to stop to see it. Belinda is shot
near the heart and is okay in a few minutes. Asian man was correct in his
assessment but black girl says he just tried his best. He was right from the start
and the Doctor and the female leader were wrong. And stopping an intelligent
predator by stating that its reflection is itself behind itself is just stupid.
LUCKY DAY --0/10 (can I give it a negative? If so then
NEGATIVE 15 and yes it is that bad)
DW has had plot holes before but this is FULL with plot
holes from start to finish and almost one every two minutes. NONE of this makes
any sense. Doc wants Conrad in jail and dead. Conrad is white. And would make a
better Doctor because he’s being played by a good actor
THE STORY AND THE ENGINE

Doc is accepted in the most homophobic place on Earth
(imagine if RTD went to the actual Nigeria to get a location shoot?). Doc lets
black man and woman kidnappers and killers GO free. Spider goes in on itself to
chase them out the door? Doc opens door in spaceship.

THE REALITY WAR--- 0/10
For a title with reality in the title, very little relates
to the real world or…anything for that matter. All wasted here and the Doc once
more uses regen energy as if it were magic and he was Harry Potter or
Spiderman. Shit, this era sucked.
Gatwa, initially good to great as the Doctor, totally sucked
by the end of his own era and his worst season is this season due to HIM. And
the irritating companion and the hope that each story, which starts out okay,
will be better than the first season of Gatwa’s horrid scripts. No chance. BOTH
Gatwa seasons are almost total shit. Two out of eight stories is not good and
one good special and one awful one (the Moffat one) is not good.
DW NEEDS TO BE CANCELLED FOREVER or in the very least, get rid
of RTD. If no one else wants to endanger their career to helm this as show
runner, rather than destroy it further with talentless hacks like Moffat, RTD
and the writers for these last three years, then CANCEL IT for good and NEVER
bring it back.
YOU can destroy an entire franchise with three years like 2023
to 2025. And just for the record, thanks to these stories, I AM BUYING LESS DW
merchandise: less magazines, less audios, less comics, and less books. Of
course, they are making less because the audience has dwindled thanks to the
shit from 2009 to 2025 but never mind: you ruined DW for me and hundreds, maybe
thousands of others.
DW IS DEAD.
