The 15th Doctor: a total failure?




Let's see:


So far this season on DOCTOR WHO:


-the Lux villain decides he likes light so much, he's not going to destroy anyone or anything but becomes so drunk on light, he'll vanish after....the Doctor is trapped and Belinda sets a fire which....both let him out.


-The creature that is supposed to be the one from MIDNIGHT but doesn't act like is...set free by the Doctor.


-The Doctor doesn't really stop Conrad but advocates for him to be in jail for knocking down one person and breaking into UNIT. The Doc is absent for most of this episode.


-The Doctor decides that a man who wants to kill the Gods and bring death upon billions...can go free. Again, Belinda is the one who figures this out and evil kidnapper Abby...who is also forgiven and let free....saves the day by telling the story. The Doctor in the chair, doesn't tell a story. Earlier, he also opened the door to the shop and almost killed everyone even though he knew all the signs that they were traveling. He lets both Abby and the Manager go free!


What a dumb show this has become and what a stupid character this Doctor is now. It's all in the writing.

 WHY DOCTOR WHO IS SUCH GARBAGE NOW DW is in sad shape right now. A response to a post about the 60 anniversary "stories". What? RTD is shit now. His writer block from Journey's End stuck and never left. His time from 2005 to 2008's MIDNIGHT was the best of the modern series, not perfect but entertaining, meaningful, emotionally sound, logically good, solid DW. Torchwood was a huge mistake and crap, a gutter show. Sarah Jane worked but became routine. RTD burned out on DW and wrote a few good things between his first tenure and now (ALL not sci fi and ALL usually about what he knows: gay life and they were okay, if sad).   DOCTOR WHO-LUCKY DAY (extreme spoilers)   Oh fuck! Is today Saturday? Doctor Who new episode? I didn’t almost forget---I did forget. Compare to the Chris Eccleston’s and David Tennant’s stories when I did countdowns and couldn’t wait and it was the only thing foremost in my mind. Now? Could care less.   THE WORST DOCTOR WHO ERA and hopefully the very last     I DID NOT SURVIVE THE RTD DISNEY/GATWA error Aka the Wrap Up Destruction of DW!   You know how some of the McCoy stories were “throw in everything but the kitchen sink” ahead of their time and you hated them when you first saw them as incomprehensible low level garbage but they were really just a bit ahead of their time, sort of and you start to like them after reading what they were really about and what was really behind them (I don’t mean the shit like HAPPINESS PATROL and DRAGONFIRE, those suck)?
