BIG FINISH’S DARK SHADOWS:

BLOODLUST episode 11

Narration: Ed? Davd? Mike? Not sure.

Ed runs from Kate noting she killed Frankie.

Maggie gets an IDU (I don’t understand).

Mike gets an IDK.

Mike and Maggie discuss Maggie’s irregular blood and her blood test. He suggests they keep it a secret. Maggie has Mike put her in a cell. She’s a dope.

Maggie puts Mike in charge until Eric will be back. Magie does not yet know Eric is dead.

Harry, Cody and Jackie discuss what they saw: Kate kill Eric and if she killed Andrew or Melody. Jackie gets an IDK. She’s crying about seeing it.

Angelique knows Barnabas fed. Their bloodlust connections them. She knows he turned someone. Barnabas calls Kate unimportant.

Amy rants against Quentin and breaks down. Quentin gets an I KNOW, I KNOW.

He warns her about going back to help Tom. Quentin knows what it is like to hear the screams of all his victims. Quentin finally knows who the enemy is and this war. Amy says, “If they hurt him, Quentin, I’ll kill them. I will kill every member of the Collins family…including you.”

Theme. There is a faint heartbeat under the theme.

Barnabas feels someone told him to make Kate a vampire. He can’t remember who summoned him to go to Widow’s Hill. She tries to use her powers to make him remember.

He remembers: Maggie.

Ed brings Kate to Mike. He hit her with a chair. He tells Mike that Eric and Frankie are dead. Ed asks what’s going on. Mike says, “IDK.”  Mike will call Brian and Martha to help clean up Frankie and Eric. Mike wonders why he didn’t kill Kate but Ed says it is the right thing to do.

Barnabas remembers Amy. Then, another man and another. Each time Barnabas says, “Good evening.”  Quentin is in the memory next. Mike and others. Carolyn. David. Others.

Harry, Cody and Jackie return to Rhonda. Jackie explains about Kate killing Eric and Frankie as a vampire. Eric was so young.

Jackie thinks Rhonda is still the sheriff. She calls everyone else a God Damned Idiot.

Rhonda is going to go to the office and uses the kids as back up?

Angelique asks why Barnabas did it? He answers, IDK. Someone had a hold over him. Angelique finds the powers against them play with reality.

David makes Carolyn awake from her chanting to find Quentin and Amy to stop them.

David wonders where, tomorrow night before the curfew, they should release Tom: the Blue Whale, Collinsport Inn, the streets of Collinwood. He settles on the streets where the blood of innocents will be spilled. Those remaining will see the light as the enter “his golden age.”

Rhonda apologizes to Mike for what she said at the meeting. Mike tells them the truth about Maggie’s blood and Maggie being locked up. Mike asks Rhonda to help out. It is time they all started working together.

Angelique asks what Barnabas has been doing since he left Collinsport. He claims he found Julia and they did an experiment. She’s alive.

Angelique claims that Barnabas still has feelings for Maggie Evans. He always will. “I know it,” she says.

Another memory of who he meets. Another  “Good evening.” Someone with an evil voice disguised who wants Kate turned or he will kill Maggie Evans.

He tells Angelique.

Maggie starts to sing London Bridge is falling down when Kate awakens in a cell near her. Kate is hungry and doesn’t want water. Maggie explains she was a waitress and loved Joe. Maggie should have left town years ago. Kate cries she killed Frankie.

Angelique brings up that Barnabas helped the leviathans who were slaughtering innocents to save Josette. Barnabas tells her she should know that love clouds judgement. He blames her for making him this creature.

Angelique thinks that if Maggie dies, he will be free. The others of her group will cower. Angelique says, “Maggie Evans must die…tonight.”

Harry goes to Mike to talk about Melody. Harry claims he can’t talk to Amy.

Kate says, “I don’t care,” about killing Frankie and Eric. Kate wants to eat the child in the cell next to Maggie. She wants the sleeping child’s blood! Maggie used to stop pop drinking by giving him water.

Rhonda tells Maggie this is what is known as a break out.

Harry keeps Mike distracted.

Mike thinks deep down, Harry might have loved his dad. Harry didn’t like his dad.

“We all face grief in different ways,” Mike tells him, “There’s no right way to do it.”

Mike says, “We don’t always like the people we love. Don’t feel guilty, please.”

Rhonda wants to let Maggie out and go to the cave to find out what’s going on. Kate, Maggie and Rhonda talk about staking Kate. Maggie keeps a stake in her boot and a gun somewhere (mumbling, I could not hear KLS). Kate wants Maggie’s blood. Rhonda opens the cell but Maggie stakes Kate.

Harry is sorry about Melody. Mike calls him a good kid. Outside, they all meet to head to the cave. Susan saw what the deputies took away. Susan doesn’t want Ed to drink but he does.

Cody and Harry try to comfort Jackie who wants Harry to stay with herself and Cody instead of going to find Amy. Maggie vs Rhonda over whether or not the kids should go into the cave with the adult women. They hear Amy and Quentin.

Ed drinks. Susan can’t hold Ed even though she wants to. He contemplates killing himself (using his mom’s pills). “Another day, another death.”

Jackie suggests Maggie is behind all of this. Barnabas knows Angelique can’t live without him and would not kill him. She can make him suffer. He asks if that’s ever worked. Rhonda and Maggie enter. Jackie tells them Quentin and Amy are under a spell, repeating the same thing over and over.

Cody worries Amy might take Harry away. Cody knows it wasn’t Harry who killed Melody but wonders where Harry was because he avoided the question. Harry checked in and when Andrew and Amy argued, Harry saw this guy in reception who was sweet. He chatted with Harry and they kissed. “It was my first.”  He apologizes. Cody thinks Harry will be the last boy he ever kisses. Amy and Quentin see them appear out of nowhere as Angelique releases them.

Quentin knows who their enemy is, a powerful but playful enemy.

Tom saw the proof in Collinwood: the hand. The hand of Petofi.

Mel’s body was not drained in the street but the morgue. The hand of Petofi. Amy remembers there was a book about Petofi in college, he killed the last unicorn.

Jackie asks, “There were unicorns. For real?” She laughs. It’s dopey.

Harry says, “I don’t think I’m going to be surprised by anything anymore.”

Barnabas reveals that Quentin, Angelique and he had dealings with Petofi in the 19th century.

“No,” Harry said, “I take that back. The 19th century?”

Amy remembers that after he died Petofi would find a way to create the Age of Petofi. Amy kind of forgot to take back the book; Quentin took it from Amy. When Stryx attacked Collinwood, Carolyn must have found the hand to use against the demon Stryx. Maggie gives Rhonda her badge to get Mike to evacuate Collinwood with the kids. Rhonda, Maggie, Quentin, Barnabas, and Angelique are going to Collinwood. The kids will go with them to Collinwood, Tom is their friend, Cody says.

Rhonda calls Mike and tells him to evacuate the town. She will go with them to Collinwood.

“Get out of Collinsport!” Rhonda tells Mike via walkie talkie.

Maggie tells the group she has to do something. She puts Barnabas in charge of protecting them all, knowing he can be a good man.

If they stop the Age of Petofi there will be something else, Maggie thinks. Maggie also thinks there is only way to stop this.

Ed has a gun that he’s going to use to kill every member of the Collins family. That is what he wants to live for: justice. He feels the Collins have caused so much misery and death.

Maggie goes to Angelique. “You and me, we’re going to end this,” Maggie tells her.

THEME.

A female actor (not sure who but it sounds like KTS?):  DS is a BF production.

Moving all the players around into a surprising cliffhanger. Another good episode with unexpected events.
