ADRIC CHARACTER BIO---

 

Adric's people believed themselves to be Terradonians--humanoids from the planet Terradon. The Terradonians who crashed on the planet Alzarius in the Starliner spaceship, were all killed by the Marshmen of the planet. This planet also contained Marsh Spiders who bit and took over Romana. The people who lived in the Starliner thought it was their ship and that they originated on Terradon. They were, in reality, the evolved Alzarian Marshmen who after four thousand generations evolved into these humanoids. The oldest one of the humans--the Decider was the only one who knew the truth. The Marshmen were in favor of nature and did not like technology on the planet. They also seemed to be against the Alzarians since they were of a higher order--and were cruel to the Marsh baby that wandered into the Starliner, using it in cruel experiments. The Mistfall was a periodic orbital change which released non-toxic gases that enhanced evolutionary processes. The Starliner people were told that the gas was toxic and that they should lock themselves up in the Starliner until it is over.

Adric was about 14 when the Doctor landed on Alzarius. Small and wiry for his age but strong, with short straight black hair of varying lengths, Adric has brown eyes and a snub nose. His usual attire is a yellow jerkin with beige sleeves. On the left breast is a red pocket to which is attached a gold edged blue, star shaped badge for mathematical excellence. Beige baggy trousers complete his attire with greenish boots and a marsh reed around his waist worn as a belt. This belt had to be earned by the youth to become one of the Outlers--teens who did not live on the Starliner with the adults and the others who practiced academic excellence. The people on the ship were intelligent in many ways but in many others they were very naive--they couldn't really fly the ship at all--they just merely made endless repairs over and over and no one among them expected that they were evolved from the dreaded Marshmen who killed the real owners of the Starliner--the real Terradonians.

Adric's parents were killed when he was one year old. They died in the last of the forest fires. Adric's brother was Varsh and he was three and half years older than Adric. As they grew up, Adric wanted to be like Varsh and he learned to steal, lie, and other activities which were the dark side of his natural optimistic brashness and enormous intellectual curiosity. Varsh, for all his differences from Adric, felt a need to protect him. They had been brought up by friends of the family but they never felt they could properly express themselves to anyone except for each other. That ended when Varsh left the Starliner community to become an Outler--who break all family ties when they leave. Varsh eventually became leader of the Outlers. His charges included Tylos Milren (who wanted to become leader badly and would do anything soon to become it) and Keara Login, the blonde and pretty daughter of Chief Engineer Halgrin Login--who would later become a Decider. Keara was pretty and conceited and took what she wanted but Adric wouldn't let her take his badge. Other Outlers included Yenik and Hektir, both of whom die by the Marshmen at the onset of the recent Mistfall. Tylos dies also by the Marshmen, saving one of the Starliner foremen-Rysik during the Marshmen attack on the Starliner. Two others were Refnal and Gulnar-who are later killed by the Marshmen also.

Adric was normally a non-conformist and didn't like authority in most any forms--he was even an outsider among the Outlers. Like his brother Varsh, he wanted to be free of strictures and to be in charge of situations. While Adric confronted this by being the best in all academic areas he endeavored in, Varsh left and survived outside in the forests, living in a cave and stealing river fruit from the small supply of the community. Varsh was taller, physically stronger than Adric and broad shouldered. Adric did not like the predictable and sterile. He had been one of the keenest minds on the Starliner though and was an elite among the Elite.

Thus Adric's personality was a bit brash. He seemed very naive at times and this could have been due to many reasons. One could have been his self preservation--a false air of innocence and youthful helplessness when there was none or as a cover for his real fears. Another reason could be that he came from such a closed, rigid community which did not encourage much thinking beyond the academics they professed to be true--thus there were large gaps in Adric's intellect and in those of all his people. The Outlers were indeed not better than Adric but he had an annoying habit of making them and others aware of their inferiority. Adric was very real in a sense that he was mortal. The swamp heritage did give him a quicker healing rate time than the humans from Earth and the Time Lords and Ladies of Gallifrey and most other beings. Adric had a habit of stealing and this helped the Doctor get an image translator which he needed to see if he and Romana were in another universe. What he found was that they were. Thus, Adric is not from N-normal Space. He lived in E-Space--which is the negative coordinates of our real positive space. The center of which was zero coordinates--which was also visited by Adric with the Doctor and Romana and K-9.

While travelling with the Doctor (and we can count the many adventures through the two annuals he appeared in as well as many fan fiction tales he was in), Adric's enquiring mind emerged, but he was definitely and irritatingly a mendacious magpie. In many ways he could do things most other companions of the Doctor could not--help with many of the functions of the TARDIS and other devices. He told the Monitor on Logopolis that the Doctor taught him how to read Earth numbers (but he might have known something about them before this). But in many ways, the Doctor couldn't always trust Adric to do the right thing--and at first he didn't always seem loyal to the Fifth Doctor. Adric seemed to side with some of the Doctor's enemies. This usually occurred because Adric saw some intelligence from the enemy such as with the Monarch who he thought could liberate people and set up new ideals. While lead astray by such false promises, Adric usually came through in the end for the Doctor and the other companions. He could be easily swayed by the con artistry of such villains as the Monarch. At other times, Adric just seemed to go along with the enemy such as Hindle until he could bide his time to free the Doctor. Adric sometimes had his own plan and these didn't always work--such as his going along with the Vampires until he could try to free Romana--which failed. Usually with the Fourth Doctor he followed plans to the letter but when the Doctor regenerated, he didn't seem to feel that confidence was with the Doctor as much and decided to handle things his own way. Adric was so worried about Tegan that he didn't think about his leading the robot of the Terleptils to the Tardis but he did attack it--a brave thing to do--when it attacked Nyssa.           

Despite his intelligence and his quick math skills, Adric was in all a boy, a teen with much angst-always in trouble as Nyssa once said. Did Nyssa like him? Did Tegan? Did he fit in with the TARDIS group? He was never really sure himself although without him the Doctor probably couldn't have dismantled the Cybermen bomb. He constantly worried that Tegan didn't like him even though she really did love him and later had problems even going near his old room after she thought him dead. Adric never really knew she felt this close until the last time he saw her. While there definitely was something that could have developed between him and Nyssa, he normally felt more like a brother to Tegan and sometimes to Nyssa as well. Since he had a sheltered education, Adric felt teased by all the others on the TARDIS. In many ways, he may have felt more at home with the sturdy, consistent father like image of the Fourth Doctor and the mother like, big sister presence of Romana. While erratic, the two possessed more parent-like qualities than the group he found himself with secondly. Adric also has a partner in crime with K-9, who he usually could get to do what he wanted--sort of a new brother. Adric never forgot Varsh in the same way the Doctor will never forget him--Varsh died defending the Starliner from the Marshmen.  

Other traits of Adric include being a good swimmer, a fast healer, having a large appetite, being able to conceal hidden things in his sleeves, and being a quick judge of devices-such as his homing device given to him by Romana--which he loses in the forest of 1666. Adric also used a knife which he was skilled at throwing and he threw one at Zargo, one of the vampires. Adric was also adept at space suit use and of all the companions the most likely to be able to fly the TARDIS bar Romana of course. There also may be swamp man, Marsh abilities Adric possesses that even he is not aware of and which may yet frighten him. Adric is usually cheerful, full of eagerness to explore, and has a sense of humor that doesn't come out too often but when it does he is very funny. And sarcastic. Witness his line about the new and Fifth Doctor when he had a fight with him, "You know since his regeneration, I think he's become decidedly immature."    

However, Adric could also charm someone especially the Doctor and Nyssa. He usually had words with Tegan but they were good working together and Tegan could sometimes get the Doctor to thank Adric for his good deeds. Even the vampires could tell that Adric had intelligent eyes, great beauty, and a promising inventory of abilities. Adric was basically caring with all his TARDIS pals and cared a great deal about all of them and did his best to help them. He just sometimes thought his ways were best and that the others didn't understand things he did. Certainly they really didn't fully understand him nor he did understand himself. Adric knew there was nothing back for him on the Starliner or so he said--perhaps, though, there was something there for him. He just chose to stay on the TARDIS where he knew something was already there for him. It is highly unlikely that Nyssa would have left the Doctor as she did on Terminus had Adric still been with the TARDIS crew. Tegan might not have left as she did had she had the warmer Adric with her. His supposed death left a great deal of trouble in her mind.

Adric's death leads us to many bones of contention. It appeared that he died saving the Earth from the Cybermen bomb that had been planted on the Freighter. The Earth was about to be blown up by the bomb in the prehistoric past--making humankind unable to come about at all. Adric broke three of the logic codes before it blew--and perhaps his doing so veered the course of the ship and caused it not to hit the Earth with as hard an impact.

Adric supposedly died but there are many conflicting reports of his continued existence, some perhaps in other time streams, parallel dimensions, and alternate time zones. One report had him nearly saved by the Sixth Doctor and Peri Brown and he turned up later to help them. Another report had the Fourth Doctor and Leela save him, regenerating and converting him into Brendan Richards, the ward of Sarah Jane Smith's heir. There was a tale that the Fifth Doctor dragged Nyssa and Tegan to through the prehistoric past to find a part of the Key to Time to bring Adric back, defying the Black Guardian. In another report, Adric had used the block transfer codes of the Master that enabled him to  create Castrovalva, to make a copy of himself just before he blew up. This version appeared to the Fifth Doctor at one point. Another story had him saved by a Time Team from Gallifrey and he later became a companion to Lady Leona. More versions exist and several even had the Master save him for his own evil purpose. Another had Romana and K-9 find him in E-Space where he remained for a time to help Biroc's people--until the Second Doctor, Jamie, and Zoe showed up to bring him back to the Starliner--just before it took off Alzarius, shown how to by the Fourth Doctor. There were also unsubstantiated rumors that Adric had worked for UNIT while the Fourth Doctor and Sarah Jane were off time-hopping just around the time of the Loch Ness incident.     

Whatever happened to him, Adric remains one of the most original, complex companions and characters to come out of DOCTOR WHO, most misunderstood by the production team and writers and his loss saw a set back, for the series reverted back to DOCTOR WHO traditional companions.

THE FULL CIRCLE-The Time Lord the fourth Doctor, Time Lady Romana, and robot dog K-9 II go through a CVE and find a negative universe--E-SPace, smaller than our universe. While working on how to get back to their own universe, they become involved in the Starliner and its peoples' struggles to repair it. As they do, a mistfall occurs and the Marshmen attack the Starliner and Romana is bitten by a mistspider and helps them. They are nature driven. Adric steals a part for the Doctor and helps him drive the marshmen out--but his brother Varsh dies by them. Adric stows away on the TARDIS. 3200.

 

STATE OF DECAY-Still in E-Space, Romana and the Doctor find a planet where the locals are kept in primitive ways by the three who rule--actually vampires, descendants of some of the Earth people that crashed here years ago. They have been made this way by one of the Great Vampires which fought the Time Lords eons ago. They are planning to kill Romana to revive him and Adric is to be made one of them. Adric, slipping by K-9 is not known to be aboard the Tardis by The Doctor and Romana. Adric pretends to go along with the vampires against Romana and the Doctor. The Doctor with help from the locals and K-9, attacks the castle and saves his friends. 22nd Century.

PATHFINDERS-Still in E Space, The Doctor wanders down a trail on a forestry planet, empty of other life. The Doctor was tired of E space and runaway boys. Adric wanders also after having a conversation with K-9 about circular space, a curve in space, or in destiny. The Doctor cries that he has no trail back. Romana asks if he is trying to get back at them for changing Alzarius. He has been wondering if she and the Doctor feel guilty about wandering through other people's lives, their galaxies, their business. Adric tells Romana it is not just Alzarius--on the last planet as well. Things would have changed anyway without their help. Only differently, Romana states. Romana feels Adric is a naive and angry youth, his puppy like instinct refusing to allow him to give up the conversation. "You see, Romana, you and the Doctor make huge footprints through people's lives. He does it callously, and you, you do it because you think it's right and because you've got to follow him. But if it was me, I'd be just a little bit uncertain. After a time, I'd become wary of taking hold of situations which ought to be in other hands. And eventually I'd stop."  K9 dematerializes the Tardis to where the Doctor is and Adric fetches him in. The Doctor, later, tells Romana to choose where to go. He gives Adric a book to read-ROBERT FROST-SELECTED POEMS. THE ROAD NOT TAKEN is the poem he points out to Romana after Adric throws the book onto the console. Romana, later reads the poem, after she is gone from the Tardis.

WARRIOR'S GATE-The TARDIS goes through a CVE but not out. Biroc, a Time Sensitive stops it and they find they are caught in a rapidly shrinking borderzone between N-normal space and E-space--at 0 coordinates. Inside, a ship of human slavers treat the Tharill lion like people badly--until the Doctor and Romana interfere. Romana remains behind in E-Space to help free the rest of Tharills that may be imprisoned there. The Doctor gives her the badly damaged k-9 since he will be okay on the other side of the gateway. 

 

DOCTOR WHO MEETS DARTH VADER-fan fiction-Adric and Doctor in star war saga.

THE MASTER AND THE ROSE-fan fiction-Adric and the Fourth Doctor go 1860 England in December where they meet the daughter of Anne Ross and Edward Masters--named Rose Masters. She is the daughter of the Master, conceived in 1830 abandoned by him. She turns up here with a damaged and dangerous Time Ring. They tell her the truth and then home in on the Master on a tiny planetoid--his decrepit self again. The Master couldn't kill Rose when she helps the Doctor and Adric. The Time Lords battle using Rose's mind. They drop Rose off to live on Gallifrey.

 

A ROSE ON GALLIFREY-fan fiction-The Fourth Doctor and Adric are summoned back to Gallifrey. The decrepit Master has stolen the crown of Rassalon in an attempt to get his daughter Rose and power. He tricks the Doctor and Borusa into the Matrix. Leela, Andred, a young boy Gallifreyan named Eshak, and K-9 I appear. The Master uses illusions of witch trials from 1692, Jamie, Sarah, Ben, Susan, and the Brigadier. In the end, the Doctor wins but has to bring Rose to a planet of friendly telepaths where she will be safe from the Master. Adric and the Doctor must not recall her or think about her or the Master will find out where she is.    

 

THE KEEPER OF TRAKEN-The Doctor and Adric are summoned by the old Keeper of Traken when an ancient evil is unleashed on the peaceful world. Cassia is given over to a stone statue of one of the evil beings that landed on Traken--Melkur. Cassia's step daughter, the daughter of Counsel Tremas, Nyssa, helps the Doctor and Adric when they are blamed for a series of murders in the gardens. The force behind all this is the Master and the Melkur is his TARDIS, which he uses to seize the Keepership, killing the Keeper and Cassia. Adric and Nyssa carry out a plan of the doctor's and Tremas and stop the Master--who is in his old, wizened form, in between regenerations. The Doctor and Adric leave and don't know that the Master melds into Tremas.

 

INTERGALACTIC CAT-Annual-The Doctor reveals another K-9 for Adric. Genesis III, a super powerful computer, uses a Composition Adjustment Teleport to create a planet on a single carbon atom and lures travellers there. It intends to turn them into a deadly army.

 

CONUNDRUM-Annual-The TARDIS becomes lost in a portion of space that functions like a Mobius strip.

 

PLANET OF PARADISE-Annual-Adric disarms service robots which have taken over a planet called Elystria, a perfect society. The Doctor realizes that maybe he shouldn't always teach Adric that stealing is always wrong since stealing helped him defeat the robots.

 

PLAGUE WORLD-Annual-Insect like Druden unleash a plague on a human colony to obtain human flesh for their young. Bemar, the lady alien leader dies in a blast but the Doctor's ally Kidson also dies in the blast.

 

JUST A SMALL PROBLEM-Annual-After landing in the belly of the creature, the Doctor defeats a giant beast who is swallowing the population of Xiter.

 

SLAYER OF MONSTERS-Annual-The Fourth Doctor and Adric semi-crash land in a desert and when Navajo see them and the Doctor is mistaken for Slayer of the Monster and when Adric goes for a swim he is taken for Child of the Water. From a swamp--which makes Adric feel at home--they uncover the mystery of a monster--an alien Ronin warrior in a Mitarian fighter ship. They help the creature leave Earth..

DEGENERATION-ff

 

LOGOPOLIS-The Doctor and Adric find the dead aunt of Australian air hostess Tegan Jovanka dead by the Master's Tissue Compression Eliminator. Tegan gets lost in the TARDISES of the Master and the Doctor when the Master and the Doctor's TARDISES appear inside each other. A form called the Watcher trys to warn the Doctor about the future. The Doctor and Adric go to Logopolis with Tegan finding them in the Console room. There they meet the Master and face him. Nyssa is there too and was taken there by the Watcher and she resists the Master's control. When the Master interferes with the operation of Logopolis, he causes the entropy of the universe to begin again and he and the Doctor must team up to stop it from the Pharos Project on Earth. The Master tricks the Doctor and sets himself up as the Ruler of the Universe but the Doctor pulls the plug on him--but falls off the tower. He regenerates into the Watcher--who is the Doctor's next form--the Fifth Doctor. 1981. 

 

REFRAIN-fan fiction-The Fourth Doctor and Leela save boy from a burning Freighter-who can't recall anything. The Doctor used the Elixer of Life given to him by the Sisterhood of Karn during the brain of Moribus affair. This makes the boy-Adric, unknown to any of them--regenerate.  The Doctor makes him Brendan Richards, Aunt Lavinia's ward and he makes him bump into Sarah Jane.        

 

K-9 AND COMPANY-Annual-Occurs during this time on Earth. Sarah Jane Smith goes to her aunt's home to stop witches who are trying to sacrifice her aunt's young ward Brendan Richards. Sarah was given K-9 III as a gift from the Doctor-put in the attic who knows how long ago. DEC. OF 1981

 

SHADOW-Annual-K-9 III helps Brendan and Sarah Jane stop Stephen Dansey from using a shadow demon to kill Sarah.

 

POWERSTONE-Annual-When a witch's skeleton is discovered behind the walls of Aunt Lavinia's house, the coven believes its lost powerstone may be with it. Lavinia and Brendan appear.

 

THE SHROUD OF AZAROTH-Annual-A film production company on location of the Azaroth Cult experiences strange accidents-the revenge of a woman whose parents disappeared after attending one of the coven's meetings.

 

HOUND OF HELL-Annual-Sarah Jane attempts an expose of satanists in the druid's ring on Bodmin Marshes, but not before damage to K-9's memory banks causes it to act like the devil hound Ragok. Lavinia and Brendan appear.

 

THE MONSTER OF CRAG-Annual-The Laird of Castle Crag uses a mini-submarine to keep people away and to protect his smuggling operations.

 

HORROR HOTEL-Annual-Sarah Jane and K-9 save a young woman from being forces to succeed her father as leader of the coven.

 

THE CURSE OF KANBO-ALA-Annual-An Indian sect seeks to recover an idol taken from them by Sarah's late uncle, Africana Smith on a train. Brendan and Lavinia appear. Her uncle died sealed up in a tomb.

 

THE TEMPORAL TRAP-fan fiction-The Master Kidnaps Jo Grant, Peri, Tegan, and Sarah. The Sixth Doctor saves them. Adric is used as a illusion.

 

CASTROVALVA-Adric is caught and used by the Master to interfere in the Doctor's recovery after the regneration. Adric sets the console under the Master's control to go to Event One-the creation of the galaxy by a huge inrush of power. Avoiding that--the TARDIS lands on Castrovalva--a small, gentle type world. Here, Tegan and Nyssa help the Doctor rest. They find Castrovalva has a secret--it was only just created by Adric under the Master using the Logolpolis computations. It is a closed universe which folds in on itself. The Doctor pulls Adric from the Master's neural net and they escape but Castrovalva collapses.

 

BIOLOGY LESSON-Nyssa tells the others that her people have small glands called the Casein near the top of the thigh. If they ever have a fever or get ill, it is essential that the Casein is exposed to fresh air. Adric wanders off to look for the TARDIS' heating controls.

 

NOT THE HADRON GAG-fan fiction-Trapped in some sort of energy web, an alternate universe (?) Adric is in a loin cloth only, in the alternate universe Master's Tardis, a Master who has a bullwhip.

DOCTOR WHO AND THE WRATH OF KHAN-fan fiction-Adric, Nyssa, and Tegan pick up a bit about running the TARDIS. Adric figures out how to celebrate the Doctor's birthday--the way given to him by Romana. A survey group from Gallifrey is on the planet Sigma Delta where natives attack. Time Lords Charn and Thulex search for a lifeless planet. Their project chief, Solle (Leela's father's name also), tells them to land. Solle's mother is Leela. The Time Lords are working on a Genesis Project to restart life from dead matter, even planets. The Botany Bay refugee criminals capture the two Time Lords. Charn regenerates. The Second Doctor (with Polly, Ben, and Jamie) helped the Enterprise crew capture Khan in the first adventure and marooned them on this planet which should have been life giving. On the space station the travellers find Solle and Leela. Charn is forced to pilot a Tardis for Khan, who returns Thulex to kill the Doctor but Thulex kills himself instead. Leela's ease at the console annoys Tegan a bit. Leela dies and is put on the Genesis planet which was blasted by the weapon of life by Khan. The Doctor's half lenses are broken in this story which is why he uses a magnifying glass in FOUR TO DOOMSDAY. Leela must have been revisited and revived by the time ARC OF INFINITY rolls around. She is mentioned there by the Doctor.      

 

THE AMBASSADORS OF SEEDS-fan fiction-Scientist takes over Adric and Nyssa.

 

REFLECTIONS IN A TEACUP-fan fiction-When the Doctor gets sick, Nyssa slips him some over the counter medication--and he goes crazy, threatening the universe to save it and begins to materialize the TARDIS into the heart of a star. Adric takes it out of time and space and the Doctor attacks him. Nyssa hypos him. He doesn't remember any of it.

 

COLD FUSION-New Adventure-Missing Adventure tie in-The 5th Doctor, Nyssa, Tegan, and Adric are on a once ordered society on the verge of collapse as rebels wage a dirty war with Scientifica, the ruling elite. This is in the far future of Tegan's people. All that stands between order and anarchy is the massed presence of an Adjudicator peacekeeping force. But are they there for more? What is buried beneath the surface of the planet? Who are the Ferutu? They are from an alternate timeline where Gallifrey was destroyed (Rassilon's Rift). Telling a ghost story is a criminal offense. The Doctor is in conflict with his past and his future. 7th Doctor and his companions Chris Cwej (posing as Bruce Jovanka) and Roz Forrester (who also dies later on in another NEW ADVENTURES story). For the 7th Doctor and his companions Chris and Rox this took place between THE LIVING DAD and THE DEATH OF ART. Many NEW ADVENTURES and MISSING ADVENTURES mentions Adric in passing or as part of the Doctor's memories (guilt possibly?). Behind some of this is a Time Lady named Patience who helps the Doctor. She regenerates. She dies in this tale. 

 

SADISM THE SEQUEL-fan fiction-Nyssa gets Adric a parka with a hood to make up for a fight they had (possibly over a drinking thing).

 

FOUR TO DOOMSDAY-The TARDIS appears on a ship run by the Monarch and his aides, en route to Earth for conquering. The Monarch has a disease he will spread. He nearly kills Nyssa with his androids some of whom are really remade Earth beings from the past time he visited--their real essense captured in a small device. Adric is taken with Monarch and for a time helps him. The Doctor gets Adric to help attack them and rescue the TARDIS which is out in space under Tegan's inexperienced hand. Adric wears a black spacesuit in this story and fights Enlightenment and Persuasion. 2000 AD

 

KINDA-On a planet of primitives, there are human researchers who are unaware of the invasion of Tegan's mind by the Mara, a snake like being who wants to bring about the end of the mortal universe. Adric is once again used by the mad leader of the humans--mad due to the Kinda box and the Mara. When it is revealed Adric is helping the Doctor, the leader prepares to torture him. Adric escapes and gets into one of the TSS machines. The Doctor figures a way to exorcise the Mara from Tegan, get Adric out of one of the machines of the humans, and rid the world of the Mara.

 

THE SHIMMEREEN-fan fiction-The fifth Doctor, Nyssa, Tegan and Adric are involved with problems of the Second Doctor, Jamie, and Victoria. An alien entity female Shimmereen gives Nyssa back her faith since the Union was destroyed and her happiness. The story is set as the universe began, where the Shimmereen set out on its journey thoughtout all time and space. Amid the bright young stars, it comes upon a victim of the Second Doctor's bungling--a girl called Katy, vanished in a time egg experiment. This meeting in the dawn of time has traumatic results for the fifth Doctor, Tegan, Nyssa, and Adric. Katy affected the Shimmereen. Tegan fought off the Mara in her mind again, this time with laughter. Katy and it will go to Gallifrey and then the see the rainbow clouds of Morn.

THE VISITATION-The Terileptils are stuck on Earth during the time of the Plague in England in the past-1666 AD. They have killed a family at a manor, control villagers to attack the travellers, and plan to spread the disease with more infected rats. The Doctor, Tegan, Nyssa, and Adric meet highway man Richard Mace, who becomes an aide to them. Adric and Tegan are captured by the aliens. Nyssa destroys a robot sent to take the TARDIS with the help of Adric, who escaped. The Doctor stops the Terileptils but in the melee the Great Fire starts. 

 

THE CITY OF GOLD-FASA ROLE PLAYING GAME-The Fifth Doctor, Nyssa, Tegan, and Adric get involved with the Second Doctor's lookalike Salamander-a Mexican in the future year 2030 AD in Australia. This concerns a time loop with 1543, the Silurians, the Sea Devils (who both seem to rule in the future), both incarnations of the Master, Venezuela, Spanish Conquistadors, pyramids of death, the golden city of Manoa, Amerindians, Silurian dinosaurs such as the Herrerosaurs, a priest who wants them to see the light, and other dangers. 

 

ON THE PLANET ISOPTERUS-Annual-The Fifth Doctor, Nyssa, Tegan and Adric save humanlike aliens from giant mutant termites after escaping themselves and take the humanoids off the planet.

 

THE KEY TO VAGA-Annual-Leaving Nyssa and Tegan in the Tardis, the Doctor and Adric encounter a race that wants a last look at their home but their ship and the TARDIS cannot occupy the same as the Doctor's without  destroying the planet. Nyssa and Tegan are sick in bed.

 

PLANET OF FEAR-Annual-With Nyssa and Tegan still sick in bed, Adric and the Fifth Doctor are on Ixos 4 whose inhabitants-grub like creatures use the subconscious terrors from visitors own minds to defend themselves. Adric wonders what the Doctor's fear were.

BLACK ORCHID-The four time travellers are in the past in the year 1925. Here the Doctor plays cricket and solves the mystery of George Cranleigh--the son of the woman of the house who was horrible disfigured by South American indians years ago. He was kept in the house by the mother and a good Indian but George gets free and kills a butler and the indian. He wants Anne Talbot-Nyssa's lookalike but gets Nyssa instead. George falls off the roof. Adric ate a lot in this story and it is the first time he wore other clothes.   

 

A SIGN OF A TIME IN MIND-fan fiction-Adric, moody, is in bed when summoned by the Castrovalvans to restart life on their world. Nyssa and the Fifth Doctor were outside (Tegan refused to go out into mud) when this began. They escaped back to the TARDIS. Adric's death is almost foretold.

 

THE ANGELS OF CONNOR-fan fiction-Nyssa worries about Adric ever since they set course for Gallifrey--he's been more moody and withdrawn and has talked about Alzarius and the Starliner. They almost go into a CVE but are pulled onto Connor. A boy, Kester, who looks like Varsh captures Adric. A dwarf named Tolk is his aide. Roth aliens are light humanoid shaped balls of light energy. Adric names the horses here--uniponies. Kester and his people come from the Starliner, his mom died a time after it crashed here. Adric tells Kester that his mother disappeared; the Deciders called it a CVE which took her and Adric's father was killed during the mishap which cracked the Starliner. The Second Doctor, Jamie, and Victoria visited this planet in its past. Kester and Tolk die saving the Doctor and Adric from the Roths.     

 

GABRIEL'S HOUNDS-fan fiction-Sometime in the immediate past or perhaps the present, Adric, hears the hounds of the Moors. The four are in Langham, North Yorkshire's bogs, the Torbeck farm where Mary and Bill Thornton greeted the mist lost travelers. Mary's father and many others who have heard the hounds, died shortly after. The Doctor finds Adric's badge for Mathematical Excellence on the ground and puts it in his pocket.

DOCTOR WHO MEETS THE X MEN-fan fiction-Adric may get some super powers; Mara and the Adversary appear.

 

BEFORE-fan fiction-Adric has a wet dream, gets the Doctor to fix him up some clothes and given a belt by the Doctor, a belt Jamie once wore. Adric changes back to his regular clothes when Nyssa makes a joke about the clothes he has tried on, likening it to the Doctor's clothes sense. Adric had foster father who was sick from a tumor. His parents died in the fires. The planet Denion of ugly but peaceful and perhaps boring aliens, vanished. A solar flare may have destroyed it but the rocks and ionised plasma that were Denion held a secret for Adric. A secret that he wouldn't know about for a while but hwich intermeshed him with the Doctor, the Master, and Denion again. Almost posthumously. Adric skips breakfast.     

 

WHEN THE STARS FELL ON ENDEN-fan fiction-Adric gets the TARDIS to make River Fruit. Adric is yelled at by the Doctor as he tries to bring him breakfast. Adric storms out but the Doctor tries to make it up. They land on Enden, a small town where Adric meets and wants to stay with Kahlendurharinala. He does not want to leave when the Doctor goes. Adric tells Nyssa that when she and Tegan are around, the Doctor never listens to him; but they girls feel that the Doctor and Adric have many talks. The Doctor doesn't notice that Adric wasn't with them when they went to explore a few meteorites crashed...which aren't meteorites. They are brain scramblers. A neighboring planet has been trying to invade for ages. 

 

EARTHSHOCK-The Cybermen planted a bomb in the Earth and Adric and the Doctor disarm it but then the Doctor goes to a Space freighter to find the Cybermen, unaware it is the Cybermen. The Cybermen attack the Freighter from within. They abandon it, locking it onto the Earth--with a bomb to explode and take the TARDIS with Nyssa, the Doctor, and Tegan on board--abandoning Adric on the freighter. Adric appears to die, saving the Earth from a bomb-like crash of a Space Freighter-which went back in time and was about to destroy the Earth in prehistoric times. The Fifth Doctor has his mathematical badge of excellence and uses it to kill a Cyberman. 2526. Adric's personal time line goes to REFRAIN and into K9 AND COMPANY and K9 ANNUAL.

 

TIME FLIGHT-Adric's death is discussed by the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa and Tegan. He appears as a hallcination caused by the Master who was using the Xeraphin to do stop Nyssa and Tegan from entering the Xeraphin tomb area. 1982, Jurassic period.

 

THE HAUNTING-fan fiction-The Fifth Doctor is haunted by a ghost of Adric but it seems to rest after this. This is not a ghost but a dulplicate of Adric which he created using the block transfer codes.

 

COUNTERCURRENT-fan fiction-Nyssa, Tegan, and the Doctor brave a dangerous prehistoric past to find a segment to the Key to Time to bring Adric back. They have to face the Black Guardian. Adric tells the Doctor to let him go and forget him--that way he can find where he has to go. The Doctor's guilt and grief was holding him back from this. 

 

TERMINUS-Tegan shows Turlough to a room which belonged to Adric. He tells her it looked like it belonged to a kid and that he will have throw out all of the stuff in it but we never learn if he does or not. Tegan, upset, tells him to do what he likes. Nyssa remains behind on Terminus at the end of this tale. 

 

APRIL FOOL-Kamelion gets a malfuction and puts on an act that it is Adric.

 

THE CAVES OF ANDROZANI-When the Fifth Doctor regenerates into the Sixth in full view of Peri Brown, Adric is one of the many companions the Doctor sees during his phasing in and out. Adric is there telling the Doctor that he has to go on to live and that he knows it is true. Adric is the last word the Fifth Doctor says.

 

AFTERSHOCK-fan fiction-The Sixth Doctor with Peri aboard, tries to free Adric from the Frieghter.

 

UNFINISHED BUSINESS-fan fiction-The Sixth Doctor and Peri meet Adric who jumped a time stream to help the wounded Sixth Doctor and a kidnapped Peri Brown.  

 

ALZARIUS EXPRESS-Romana saves Adric from the Frieghter Crash. He remet K-9 II and helped against the slavers who held the Tharills. Zoe Herriot, Jamie McCrimmon, and the Second Doctor land in  E-Space where Adric, the fourth Romana, and Biroc are. Romana has regenerated three times by now, helping free the Tharills. She asks the Second Doctor to bring Adric back to the Starliner just before it takes off from Alzarius. Adric writes a note and leaves it in the Doctor's pocket where the jacket was on a stand before the Fifth Doctor put it on: the note tells the Doctor that he is all right and not dead.

 

ADRIC AND THE MASTER-FASA ROLE PLAYING GAME-Adric teams up with Time Lady Leora for a brief time after a rescue team saves him from the Freighter death but treachery from Gallifreyan former student of the Master-Rozinel, a henchman of the Master, caused the rescue to go awry and sends Adric, Rozinel, and the team to an alternate dimension. Adric finds out that the Master was once the Meddling Monk. Adric is reunited with Romana and K-9 II.

 

PLANET OF THE DEAD-Monthly Comic-In 1988, The Seventh Doctor is tempted by illusions of his former companions including Adric on a planet. The illusions include his former selves, Jamie, Sara Kingdom, Adric, Katrina, and others. These area really parasitc, shape changing Gwanzulum who want him to take them off the planet.

NIGHT OF THE LIVING COMPANIONS-ff-The 8th Doctor, Grace, Sara Kingdom, Katarina, Felicity, Roz Forrester, the Celestial Toyamker, the Gods of Ragnorak, Cat Tribbles, Rocks. 1-NOT DEAD YET-The Master saves Adric from the freighter in the guise of the Doctor's Tardis. Adric sabotages the Master's Tardis and sends it to the Earth's past. Adric steals a newly built Tardis but it was programmed to go to Gallifrey and blow up as a bomb. Leela, K-9, Andred, Spandrell, and Engin show up to help stop the bomb. Leela almost kills Adric. The Time Lords decide to send Adric to Earth to investigate time disturbances there. MARCH OF 1982

 

2-THE PEOPLE OF THE GREENHOUSE-At the high school Adric has his locker as his Tardis disguise and he makes believe he is an exchange student from Scandinavia. He is bored until meeting cheerleader Eileen who need help with trigonometry. K-9 was sent with Adric. Adric also meets wrestler Kevin Eachi, who is part Irish and part Filipino. Kevin is jealous of him and Eileen and he tackles Adric. Adric shows Eileen the Tardis and takes her to the People of the Greenhouse. Kevin saw the pair go into the locker and vanish. The People of the Greenhouse think no ill thought. A rose creature converts ill-thinkers but Adric's metabolism saves his mind. Cybermen land and attack. Adric and Eileen help the People clone Adric's spare gold star to stop the Cybermen. Adric and Eileen depart leaving the gold on the planet. Will the People get greedy from it?

 

3-THE TIME TRIAL OF ADRIC-Adric and Eileen go to 1978 where Adric in Italy, saves a young man from a mob. It is Mohammed Agga, who later shoots the Pope. The Time Lords abduct the Tardis and put Adric on trial. He is to arrange a meeting between the two to promote forgiveness. He has one Gallifreyian rotation to do this in 1979 or he will be sent to the planet Shada. Adric and Eileen do this. Valeyard was one of the jury. Adric himself has to get himself to believe in forgiveness first.

 

4-PREJUDICE IS NOT IN FASHION-Adric and Eileen try to get back to the present so Eileen can get to a football game and Adric can tutor. They land in Ancient Times in Italy again. The Queen makes them her slaves. Adric will replace the Queen's black slave and become her plaything. Eileen will become a handmaiden. Rebels plot and revolt, helping the pair escape. Adric uses some of his superhuman abilities, which frighten him.

 

5-THE PEACEFUL INVASIONS-2043 on planet Talamax, a peaceful world harbors two peaceful invasions. One, a logical protoplasm wants to learn to love. The others are emotional aliens who are energetic and need to learn to control themselves. The blob meets Eileen while the aliens capture Adric. The females try to get him to marry them. Eileen gets the blob to meet the aliens and this helps free Adric. The peaceful Talamax people decide to attack the intruders but Adric proves there is no threat. The blob and the aliens co-exist and learn to love. When they do, the blob has a baby.

 

6-QUEEN OF SCOTS-Eileen and Adric are saved by Mary, Queen of Scots in 1567. Trying to return to the Tardis, the pair become involved in both sides of the Moray War. 

 

7-THE CHIMNEY SWEEP-Seven minutes after they have left, Adric and Eileen return and emerge from the locker. Kevin, angry, tries to beat up Adric. K-9 comes out and stuns him. Kevin doesn't recall seeing K9. Adric later tutors a 10 year old named Franky while Kevin and Eileen go to the football game. Franky follows Adric to the Tardis. Eileen returns to tell him about the game and they leave to go to the 1800's. Adric doesn't realize Franky is on board. He and Eileen go out and visit London. Franky follows but  two men grab him and use him as a chimney sweep. He nearly gets stuck in a chimney but a gang of children pull him out-all are slaves of the men. Adric and Eileen prepare to leave but K9 tells them of Franky. The pair rescue Franky from the men. Adric takes all the children to a planet where children rule and all there are children. Franky returns to the school with the three and Kevin sees them all come out of the locker again.

 

8-ALLEGORY OF THE CAVE-Adric decides to use the TARDIS to find Tegan. As he, Eileen, and Franky are about to go--Kevin steps into Tardis and they leave. Kevin is confused, fights Adric, and they hit the controls. 357 BC-Dionysius banishes his Uncle Dion due to the historian Philistus's lies. Plato tries to stop this. Kevin follows Eileen into a cave where robed people carry signs around a tomb. In another room are slaves who are chained and a computer which cares for babies of these people. The two free a man while Adric examines the tomb and frees Zeron--a Terileptil left here to take over after thousands of years, unaware that Terileptils are no longer conquerers. Frank is captured by Dion, freed by K-9 and Plato later. Dion's men attack Syracuse, Sicily and force Dionysius into the amphitheatre. Adric follows Zeron to the city while the man sees the sun and thinks it is a dream. Plato warns Kevin and Eileen that Dion has Franky now and Dion kills Philistus. Zeron destroys some of Dion's men and duels with Adric in a debate for Earth. If Adric wins he will take Zeron home. The debate is about whether Dion should kill Dionysius and Adric wins and the town decided in his favor. Adric frees all the people in the cave and the children leave first. Adric it turns out was wrong: in 355 BC Dion is killed on his throne and Dionysius returns after 9 more years.

 

9-TAPE TODD AT CAPE CODD-Cape Canaveral at Cape Codd in the past--one of the moon launches. Adric and the others land here while a half human, half machine being named Tape Todd tries to stop the launch and he believes it will make his people see he is superior. His people had him banished because they hate machines and believe themselves superior to machines. The gang stop Tape Todd and Adric offers to bring him home. Tape Todd opens the TARDIS doors in transit and falls out. Kevin gets the doors closed. Adric doesn't think Tape Todd is dead.

 

10-CROSSING THE....WHAT?-Still looking for Tegan's plane flight, the others in TARDIS pass through a sticky wall in time and space. TARDIS lands on a spaceship where George Washington is planning to cross the Delaware Black Hole to stop British alien tyranny. Paul Revere tries to steal TARDIS only to be stopped by K-9 and Kevin. He tells them that the British, invisible in ships, are planning to attack an unarmed planet and he must warn them. Benedict Arnold steals TARDIS. All get aboard just in time and land on a spaceship called the Mayflower. After getting it down to a planet, Adric helps the space Pilgrims become friendly with the aliens on the New Planet. They leave Arnold behind there and pick up Revere and send up a warning buoy around the colony planet. Adric sends TARDIS back through the dimension wall.

 

11-WAR OF THE POWERS-A snowplanet-date and time unknown. Adric and Eileen check out a rocketship on a mountain. Playful Yeti snowfight with Kevin and Frank. Adric and Eileen escape the ship as it tilts over a cliff and the Cybermen attack. The Cybermen capture Franky and some Yeti but saucer zaps the Cybermen and lands on top of Eileen and Franky who are taken inside it. Kevin and Adric discover the TARDIS is buried under snow. They track the saucer and go through snow to a dome. In it they find cages of human primitives. The two run down the hall as a Dalek slides down it. Eileen and Franky are questioned by the Emperor Dalek. Kevin and Adric sneak in and the Emperor reveals himself to be Davros. Using Davros they make their escape. As they rush to a landing bay--Cybermen attack. Kevin is separated and helps the humans escape. Franky falls off a saucer ramp and is caught by Cybermen. Adric and Eileen launch a saucer with two Daleks and two Cybermen somewhere aboard. Eileen, trapped between the two pairs, sees to a ceasefire. Davros has problems ordering  it but both sides finally agree. Eileen tells Daleks about the Cybership and the three minute ceasefire ends. Adric blasts one Cyberman down, the Daleks blast the other but one Dalek is also blasted. While the other Dalek tried to convince Adric to it to the Tardis, the wounded Cyberman pulls out the Dalek mutant and attacks Eileen with it. Adric pulls the Dalek's gun out but the kicks the Cyberman away. The Dalek grows a new gun and kills the Cyberman. Davros calls and tells them that the Cybermen stole a time top and a saucer with Franky on board. Davros's time top is really a bomb. Adric gets to TARDIS as the Dalek blasts the snow away. Inside he hits a switch and the Dalek goes crazy. Tardis lands in the dome and the rebel Daleks and Cybermen team up and break into Davros's room. As the new Daleks kill Davros, Adric and Eileen escape. This was the Dalek demagnatized by Adric--they let it take them inside to find Kevin but they can't. Adric and Eileen go into TARDIS. They materialize on the Cyberman stolen ship but the Cybermen don't believe the story about a bomb. A Dalek comes out of the Tardis, while a fight begins and the three escape. The flying Dalek blocks them. A Cyberman blasts it. They race out and the saucer blows up. In the Tardis they fight another Dalek and push it out of the ship. Adric repairs a wounded K-9 after they pick up Kevin and give the humans tools. The Dalek that Adric programmed blows up the dome. They leave, without knowing that this was Earth in the past.

 

12-CRINGE AT KRONGI-A Korean war soldier is hurt by a bomb. Three bearded superhumans heal him but he is crippled and a superman. The superhumans leave him wanting him to advocate peace. He stays in the mountains. One night he has a dream and hears a voice telling him to stop war through his might. Places are attacked and all having to do with or having some link to war and war machines. Since Adric was so opposed to war, the military blame him until Lethbridge Stewart arrives and stops Adric, Eileen, Kevin, and Franky from being blown up by tanks in an empty oil refinery. The Brig and Adric track a trail of radioactivity to an abandoned cave in the Phillipines and Krongi traps the two in a forcefield and then flys off to destroy the UN during a military based meeting. By summoning TARDIS and K-9, Adric and the Brig escape with Eileen on board. Eileen, the Brig, and Kevin chase Krongi to the top of the UN. There he claims he doesn't want to kill them but will have to. A missing Adric visits the three superhumans and gets them to make Krongi back to a man--just as he jumps off the roof to fly.     

 

13-THE FIRST OF THE MERICAN-The crew stop the spread of the Black Plague before it goes critical. Kiko witnesses the TARDIS arrival and follows them to the Havasupai Tribe in the Grand Canyon indian village in the present time. Eileen finds a lab with rats who spread the disease and she gets locked inside. A telepathic cat named Simone helps her escape. Adric, Kiko, and Kevin use fire on the rats and Merican appears. As a boy in 1868 he was saved from a calvary massacre on Indians then he was returned by the unseen aliens. First Adric coaxes him to help destroy the rats he created as well as creating Simone. The rats will also hurt the Indians. Then Merican uses his four warriors--an Aztec, a Zulu, an Incan, and a Mayan to fight them using bazookas and modern weapons. Kiko, who is an educated Indian from 1989, helps. Merican on a time horse escapes to 1890 in South Dakota where he kills two spying soldiers who were part of the calvary and saw the Ghost Dance. Kiko wants to stop the Wounded Knee Massacre. Adric goes out to try just that and he does get some women and children to safety in a church. Nelson Miles wants to kill Adric but a priest saves the boy. Adric discovers Merican caused the riot and inadvertently the massacre.

 

14-WHO LOVES YOU, BABY-Trying to find Tegan's plane, the TARDIS lands on a spacestation orbiting Jupiter in 2334. Three technicians have died of fright and Jetsom blames Adric. Kiko defends him and fights with Jetsom and both are nearly ejected out into space by accident. Gases from Jupiter reach out and threaten to drag the station down. Adric balances the power out. After the first pregnant woman in space named Judy, tells of a something in her room, Franky investigates a dark closed off Medical Wing. There had been a power loss there. He follows something into a vent. Judy is taken over by a gas life form and shouts warnings at them. Franky comes face to face with a deformed mutant baby. Kiko finds him in shock. Gas fills corridors. Adric frees the station and demands they leave Jupiter's area. The captain refuses. He wants the first baby born in space to be under his command. The mutant goes into Judy's room and finds Eileen there instead. She calms it. Adric tries to communicate with it but Jettsom shoots it but it isn't even wounded. The gas aliens stop them from following it out. The mutant finds Judy's romm and moves at her. the gas aliens enter Adric's mind and use his swamp abilities to attack Kiko and Eileen. Adric recovers as the gas aliens slip into TARDIS. Franky goes to Judy's room as the mutant is under the bed. TARDIS with Adric, Kevin, and Eileen aboard goes to the planet Jupiter. Adric contacts the aliens by hooking himself up to the console. They explain: a pregnant woman with a team from another planet tried to have a baby during the Storm Season and the result was the mutant. It is lonely and human yet indestructible, human but not mortal. It would rather kill Judy than have other mutants born into its pain and there was no way to communicate. The baby knocks out Jettsom, the captian, and Dr. Hibes. Adric appears with TARDIS and communicates. He hooks TARDIS up to the station and time ports it all to Earth. Judy's baby is born normal. Jettsom and Hibes recover but not in time to say good bye to the TARDIS crew. In the TARDIS, a brooding Eileen feels sorry for it, "He's all alone down there."   Comforting her, Adric says, "Maybe someday we can go back and visit him."      

 

15-SOMETHING FUNNY AT THE FARM-1864-Union soldiers attack and take over a farm of a family-Everett Stockmean, his wife Eva, and their three kids-Emma, Stel, and Little Jim, their Uncle Jake and Aunt Meredith--and tell the slaves they are free. The slaves-Yakes, Adriene, and son Jude-stay to work. A scarecrow kills a soldier. The men see Adric, Eileen, and Franky and arrange Adric's hanging. Kiko and Kevin find themselves trapped in the TARDIS with K-9 and Simone. The former slaves and family adults try to stop the hanging. The boy tries to stop a soldier from using scarecrows as target practice. This boy shows Franky his former house--a shack and they run into two scarecrows and two bodies of Union soldiers. The other soldiers hit the women and kill Stockman who is the father. Adric and Yakes, the former slave father, take their guns. Eileen sees the white aunt and three children load posin into barrels. Adric finds it is safe but then after he goes, it glows green. Uncle Jake tells Adric they have a pact with the devil as living scarecrows march on them. The plan: destroy the North. The little girl tells them their breakfast was poisoned. Adric already decontaminated it. The family summon more poison in the barn and Adric and the former slave Yakes fight them--the aunt becomes an old hag monster. The family vanish in flames. They reappear fine. Scarecrows attack the house. Eileen suggests the use of crows. The Black Guardian appears-to kill Adric himself but Adric uses a cross to ward him off. The scarecrows get in but a rainstorm washes them away just as they were choking everyone. The Black Guardian says he will get revenge on the North next year and in 1865 Lincoln is shot.

 

16-HELLO, WEREN'T YOU DEAD THE LAST TIME I SAW YOU-Using Simone's help Adric destroys the forcefield around the TARDIS. The group arrive on a plane where Tegan goes to use her locker and finds Adric. Adric, Kiko, and Kevin are instrumental as are K-9 and Simone, in getting and disarming a group of terrorists. One fanatical one starts a bomb which Adric dismantles. Tegan hoped that there would be no Sontarans this time. Adric bids Tegan a fond farewell after telling her about what happened to him. She feels they will see each other again. Eileen, jealous about how Adric always raves about Tegan, stayed in the TARDIS the whole time feeling sick-she says. Kiko and Kevin surmise she really is sick, Adric doesn't really understand, and Eileen tells them that she is sick--of them.   

 

17-RETURN TO E-SPACE-TARDIS goes through E Space's CVE after a call from Romana-a distress call. It gets stuck in a fold of space. Adric goes out and finds a family of six helping a dying Romana. She seems to be reverting back to her first incarnation. Adric finds himself changing too-onto a swamp creature. The family ask if they can go into TARDIS for help but Adric refuses. When he does Romana goes into shock. When Eileen and Kevin come out, the three children force their way into TARDIS. Adric attacks them all. Romana telepathically contacts him and stops him once being a part of the swamp people herself. Kiko stops the children from stealing the TARDIS. The two adults tell the others they are trapped in E-Space, put here for crimes they did, small crimes, then in an experiment to get into E-Space they were sent through. They can only leave the fold if someone takes up their space. But they can only leave together so the three cannot get the TARDIS out. The children come out and Adric reverses to himself. They help Romana and K-9 II back to Biroc who has located the Starliner in E-Space--the one Adric was once on. 

 

18-OLD FRIENDS AND ENEMIES-Adric destroys a vampire on the Starliner, remeeting his old friends. Biroc and Romana help them escape E-Space through the CVE. Keara, now in love with Adric, is jealous of Eileen--who was taken over by the Vampire and Keara almost killed her. Adric has to leave them all over again telling them, "For once, I'm needed-and just for who I am. I must go back."

19-ALIEN IN THE ARMADA-The TARDIS, hoping to look in on the crew's future graduation day, crashes into a sea with doors open. Simone and K-9 get safely into a room as the others swim out. Kevin has to get to the old console room but is knocked out. Adric and Kiko on the surface, cannot find Franky or Eileen. A Spanish galleon appears and fires on and sinks an English ship. They make Kiko a slave and want to hang Adric who says, "Not again."  The leader Captain Armatrodden stops it and Ortez wants to know why. Questioning Adric, the Captain is having personality changes. Adric finds out it is the year 1588. Admiral Howard has Franky and Eileen on a British merchant ship converted to lead warship. He is worked hard by the crew, she is dressed up by Howard. Kiko instigates a riot and the Spanish throw him overboard where he fights and kills a shark and swims to the TARDIS, which dangles on a ledge. Kiko begins procedures to clear the water out. Howard has Franky put into the mast of one of the burning ships they launch at the Spanish armada. Armatrodden flips and fights Adric and explains--I have seem too much of sense. Adric gets Franky out of the broken off mast. Many Spanish ships sink and burn. This is at Calasis, France. They head around Scotland and Ireland to the Atlantic. Tardis appears on Howard's boat where Eileen has tied Howard up, Simone contacts her and they both escape as a bomb blasts the ship. Ortez wants to shoot Armatrodden who caused all the trouble and wants chaos in history. A storm hits and washes Ortez overboard. Tardis appears and Kiko and Kevin are ordered by Adric to get Armatrodden into the Tardis. The ship breaks apart and Tardis falls into the sea again. Armatrodden now friendly again fixes the Tardis completely. The alien that he is tells them he took a trip through the 47 universes to increase his knowledge and learned everything about the entire scope of exsistence but this caused him to go insane. He can live forever if he wants to and can live many lives. His insane side wants to drive everyone mad. He thinks reversing the trip will cure him. Adric tells Kevin, "I'd rather not make sense if this is the price I'd pay."  Armatrodden has already set the Tardis on this trip and it speeds up toward a CVE. They miss planets and stars but the CVE is closed and the ramming causes Armatrodden to change and not be able to beat Franky at checkers. They bring him home but after that Franky says, "Oh, I let him win. It's the psychology of it all, you know."

 

20-THE MULTITUDE MONSTER-Trying to visit UNIT H.Q., TARDIS lands on Anti-Track where a Dr. Fornall runs the orbiting station to see into alternate universes and parallel worlds and dimensionsof Earth--which occupies different times in the same spaces and also occupies different times in the same space. It is 1988. Anti-Track cannot handle all these existences and the station runs out of air and falls toward Earth. After Adric and Kiko realign the computer a blanket of nothingness tries to blot out the station and all space-time. All the existences were stored and stolen in part--drained by this thing. They lock Tardis onto the most disruptive place on Earth and end up at the UN. Then Adric finds the second disruptive place-Queensland, Australia--a smei-trade town off the Great Barrier Reef. Adric hears tales of vanishing ships, the others wait for a traveling zoo, Kiko finds strange marks on the beach. Kiko fights Custer-who vanishes into a gas cloud which electrifies Kiko. Adric saves him and the cloud then becomes a jelly blob. Adric tells the fisherman Petrie that Anti Track is now everything. The train that has the animals crashes after the animals on it vanish into a mist. The Brig was on the train and he saves Franky, Eileen, and Kevin from a lion which becomes a wolf-gorilla-tiger-zebra thing. Adric traps it in a cage and sets it on fire. He tells the Brig that if UNIT destroys the cloud in Crichton, England they will also be destoying many dimensions and worlds. A giant starfish attacks the town at night but it eats the fish and leaves. Adric straps a device to his waist and enters the blob. Inside all are one and he sees Nixon, Attlia the Hun, Kidd, Hitler, Mao Tse Tung. The others fly Tardis at the blob and it becomes brick wall. On impact the Tardis changes into a middle aged stern lady. She tells them things only the Tardis would know. Adric takes the device off and flees a Dalek, a Zygon, and a Quark and he tumbles from the cloud--as a swamp boy. He has all his intellect though. They must set the barriers right again. Holding the lady Tardis's hands they are able to be taken by her to the station. The cloud kills Fornall as he helps Adric work on the computer. The plan: to get the computer to drive it back in. Adric hurls a cable at the cloud -driving only the good side into it. A black pollutant mass starts to fill the station. Tardis changes back and they rush into it. The good side-Ghandi, King, Luther, Churchill--contact Adric and Simone's minds. Fornall is revived and Tardis enters the cloud and goes to Australia, then Kilamangaro. Adric is younger and still a swamp thing. He hurls another cable into it, threatened by evil beings from the cloud. The cloud is gone and Adric is human again but a little boy. Fornall suggests they hook him up to the Anti Track computer. Avoiding a Yeti they do so and Adric becomes his correct age. The crew return to watch the zoo show. The Brig gasps, "Now I have to watch out for both the Doctor and this boy!"  Adric smiles, "But I'm not a boy. Not really."  The Brig is startled while the others laugh.

 

21-A MATTER OF LOVE AND WAR-Charov-a peaceful, semi-forestry world with glowing light caves, beaches, sunny and airy is run by children--Maka, Marli, Arra, Cinger, Leodd, Pepra, Laric, Java, and Kema. The marble capital is invaded. Rutans kill the adults-Rienba, Marundi, Garrett, Stobe. Kiko in Tardis feels a vibration and prays. Garrett sent a distress signal. Simone warns them not to appear but Kiko feels they must. They arrive and everyone agrees that all is well. Adric sees Garrett when he tells Karno's device can kill aliens, "What aliens?"   Eileen finds a storage room of dead bodies including Garrett and Seff--a clone of Seff blocks her but Marli blocks the Seff clone to allow her to get away. Kema dies protecting the five who are attacked by these Rutan copies. The leader doesn't want the children hurt. Adric grabs the device and the kids allow the five to escape. Simone comes out of Tardis to warn them and something grabs her. Charov kids tells the others, "We don't hate or argue. We are of one accord. We have no wars."  The Rutan leader wants info to help defeat enemies. Adric finds a crashed Sontaran ship and ashes. In a chasm are hundreds of eggs--Rutans begin to hatch. From space a gigantic Sontaran ship fires at tahe eggs. Kiko and Adric are trapped by an avalanche and hatching Rutans. Rocks fall on the Rutans but others crawl all over the TARDIS. Eileen stops into slime and can't move. Rutans crawl at them. Lt. Apar, a Sontaran uses a Rutan sucker gun to suck up and kill Rutans. He frees Eileen. Simone is in his back pack. He was a survivor of the crashed ship. Apar captures Kiko and Franky wo Ad. Lotag wants to question. Lotag invades the capital, killing the Rutans but the leader and three Rutans get away. Adric, dying from a head wound in the cave, is healed by four of the children. Adric goes to kill the baby Rutans but the kids sabotaged his device, telling him they cannot allow him to kill. The leader saves them from the babies. Franky tells the Dr. Ate Sontaran some info so that Kiko woll be spared. Kevin has been able to get some people out of the capital. The four kids help Adric escape but one of them is a Rutan--the real Laric is dead. The leader arrives but the three kids escape--the Rutans have Adric though. Franky and Kiko escape, Kiko killing a few Sontarans, saddening the children which confuses Kiko, The kids never hate or grow old, they can live forever. Leodd tells them he is 6370 years old. Kiko and Eileen save Simone from an operation by Dr. Ate. Adric fools with the device and causes a blast, allowing him to get away from the Rutans. The Sontarans and Rutans meet with the children and Adric who tells them that the kids can end the war. The kids meld into the planet in a symbiotic relationship, stopping the current battle. Eileen thinks they are dead but Adric claims none of the kids are dead, not even Laric. They are a planet of peace, a part of peace of the living planet and the nature of the aliens change. Kiko understands this sacrifice the kids made. Cinger's voice tells them that a similar man existed on Earth and they learned their ways from him. "This man was God."

 

22-OUT OF THE DARKNESS COMES-Maine-USA-1989-Kennebuck: Mona, the littlest daughter of Dr. Angela Lee looks out at a flying being and smiles. A bridge collapses and the TARDIS crew help civilians off the bridge. Adric meets Dr. Lee's older daughter Marette. All see a blurry object fly off. Adric and Marette find bridge tiers chewed and dead deer. Dr. Lee invites them to stay at her place during a storm. Marette tells Adric she believes in life on other planets and wants to study this. Adric says, "My work is similar."  Farmers complain of dead livestock and mistrust Adric. Night at a field and a bridge=A fear field stops Adric, the girls see a mothman off in the distance. Simone gets Adric out of the fear field, Eileen is trapped in a barn by flying forms. In it, bats attack her. Mona is taken by Mothmen. Dr. Lee hears her dead husband call. Adric claims this may be the Menoptera but something doesn't fit with them. Going to Eileen in hospital, Kiko and Adric are grabbed by farmers. The Sheriff arrests the two but Menoptera in full daylight put everyone in the jail to sleep and point to Adric with one wing, "We have come for you!"  In a cocoon cave, Adric, Kiko, and Marette find Mona. Vrestin explains--the evil Roptera left Vortis during the suntime era. The batbeings at night terrorize Eileen, kill a farmer who kidnapped Franky, and chase Franky to an empty house. Adric and the others and the Menoptera lead an assault under the burial mounds to get Eileen and Franky, kill the Great Vampire who is in control and is being revived by the bat beings, and force the Roptera into an early hibernation. Vrestin says he will find them a darker planet to live on-a planet with blood lakes. They have a right to live. This he learned from the Doctor and Adric smiles, "Yes, I know that."              

   

23-THE PAST PIPER-In the past in Hamlin, Adric discovers the Pied Piper is really the Master II. He and the others help the children to be free. The Master tells Adric for revenge he will harm Nyssa.

 

24-THIRST FOR REVENGE-Adric materializes in Harlem in NYC. He goes out to fix the circuits on the roof but the TARDIS vanishes due to a fault. Here a black girl, high on a tower, falls off and dies, telling everyone Adric pushed her off. Adric is chased through Harlem. The girl comes alive again. K9 managed to hook into the TARDIS and materialize it. Kiko, Kevin, and K9 hunt the streets for Adric who grabs the girl. The girl is in reality an alien Jester who plays deadly pranks. The crew must convince a mob of this.

 

25-THREE CHEERS FOR BIG, BLACK, AND BLUE-Adric surprises everyone by getting Eileen to a football game at their high school where she leads the cheerleaders. Kiko spots a strange new cheerleader who Eileen sticks up for, saying she is a good cheerleader and sports person. At night the new girl follows Adric and somehow gets into TARDIS. She stole Eileen's key and Eileen followed her. Adric uses water from a White Guardian planet to drive her out. She falls into a pool and Adric drops water into it. She was a Black Guardian demon! 

 

26-UNSAFE REFUGE-A fun time at an amusement park ends with a rain lightning storm. Adric, Franky, Eileen, and Kevin are forced to hide in a broken down haunted house ride. The four are separated one by one, then vanish. A huge Ogron is tying them up and threatening Kevin and Adric with a knife. Kevin knocks it out but then the lights go out. Adric finds a degenerating little Master in a closet and the Master attacks him with a knife. He needs human blood. Adric uses a lightning rod to drive him away and the house, a TARDIS, starts to vanish!

 

27-HOW'D HE DO THAT?-205 BC-TARDIS gets stuck in the Great Wall of China. The king wants to know how. To prove Adric is a "god" Kiko and Kevin and Franky must win tests against various warriors who are also teens. A group of rebels attack and grab Eileen. The king's sons find out the truth about Adric but say nothing when Adric uses an eclipse to scare them all.

 

28-WHO DO VOODOO?-The gang go to a London concert but uncover an evil music group named Xanadu who use 6 sacrifices to return as human entities. If Adric and the others can keep from being victim number 6 by twelve o'clock on Friday the 13th, then the Black Guardian will take them back. Unfortuneatly all are locked in a studio with the 6 evil members, who have already killed 5 others including Kevin's cousin and they tried to frame Joe--Eileen's cousin. A spiritualist named Miss Hawthorne tries to stop them. Franky's Grandma followed him into TARDIS in this adventure and becomes one of the time-space travelers.

 

29-WATCH THIS-4125-Earth: Grandma stops a TV controlled population from staying the victims of non-stop TV watching. The others attack the TV Central.

 

30-TIME TRAVELING IS NOT ALWAYS FUN-1156-The Japanese Civil War-the Minimoto versus the Kimuri. every Tardis member is hurt or wounded and they only just get away. All their allies in this time period are slaughtered in this adventure.

 

31-TRACK OF THE TRAKENS-Going to a drug free rally at the high school, the crew discover four Traken junvenile deliquents have been exiled to Earth. MARCH OF 1983

 

32-LIFE OF WASTE-Adric, blamed for school vandelism when he is caught in the school at night, investigates. He discovers the bodies of three students who overdosed. The friends uncover a teenage drug dealer.

 

33-BLAME IT ON THE OLD, OLD, OLD....-An art teacher tries to get Eileen to help him rob a museum and blame it on an old science teacher who is really Professor Chronitus. Adric makes Eileen do it to catch the art teacher and she is nearly killed. Kiko and Franky find Chronitus's bookroom is his TARDIS. Adric uses the TARDISes to scare the art teacher into confessing to the police. 

 

34-JUST JESTING-A school talent contest spells trouble when the Jester arrives to cause a race riot when he heckles the wrong performers.

 

35-SURVIVAL OF THE VIOLENTEST-Adric lands the gang in the middle of a scope where aliens are on survival tests, some violent and bloody--others are about surviving in harsh environments.

 

36-THE WERE PEOPLE-1942-A nazi lady creates were-people-animals.

 

37-THE TEST ME KNOT-TARDIS lands in a fake NYC which is a testing ground for escaped prison aliens--including Daleks, Cybermen, Sontarans, and Krynoids--each who want to win so they can be the ones chosen to invade the Earth.

 

38-ARKED-An ark in space holds two classes--people who fear darkness and people who play violent sports games. Before getting sucked into the ark, Adric had to spacewalk to save k-9, who was blown out into space when the ark's forcefield hit the TARDIS and the doors opened. Adric and K-9 were taken inside first. Kiko and Kevin follow and are taken into the Sports Games. Eileen, Franky, and Grandma  followed with the TARDIS.

 

39-TIME FLIP-Jewish people become Nazis who kill the Germans. If it stays this way, the time warps will kill thousands of many planets' inhabitants.  Only Einstein knows where the device that caused this is and he is not willing to help. He later creates the A-Bomb, as he is told by Adric that he may not be able to mask his war-like feelings towards evil doers themselves.

 

40-THE SOUNDS OF DEATH-A disco rock war involves the Tardis crew. 

41-THE BARBARIANS OF OUTER SPACE-Metax, a planet who became so advanced they now are barbaric, hold Kiko and Adric and force them to fight each other. Kiko kills other Metrax trainees.

 

42-HAVE WE MET?-1969-Woodstock-Xanadu creates a new riot. Adric and Eileen and Franky meet Mama Cass. Xanadu looks different this time and since it is their earlier incarnations and an earlier time--they do not know the gang.

 

43-THE BODY MASTER-1981-an alien called Bodyguard tries to get close to Ronald Reagen to kill him. He gains power by killing important people throughout time. He kills many, changing time. The first Master tells Adric if they can prevent one assassination all will go back to normal. But which one and what is the Master up to ?

 

44-THE OVERSEERS-The Overseers of a dimensional island need one thing to invade our plain--the knowledge of how to kill.

 

45-THE FEAR-The Brig calls Adric to Earth to help stop a bone marrow eating force which haunts porno movie houses. They discover it is controlled by The Master who has regained Tremas's body. Grandma, his prisoner for a time, tells him he must face death sooner or later and to do it bravely. He lets her go.

 

46-TIN TROTTER-A horse in Doncaster races is really a robot whose creator is used by the mob to win races. Grandma alerts Adric to the unusual horse and the horse wants to live. In the end, it escapes to the countryside to live with the animals.

 

47-A SHIP DIVIDED-alien living ship tries to reunite itself after being buried in various places on Earth for centuries. The Tang in Hawaii think Kevin is an ex-member and hunt him down. The Ship drive threatens to restart a Hawaiian volcano.

 

48-INCARCERATED-In a jail, Kiko and Merican team up to find out who is killing Indians and making it look like suicides.

 

49-IT'S ALL SET-Adric, Eileen, and Kevin stop a science teacher who has students start fires for the Black Guardian in rigged accidents, all designed to kill members of the TARDIS crew.

 

50-CARRIER OF THEY-a girl who collects spirits of people--wiping them clean--wants to get away from all people. She gets on TARDIS to get free of all so she cannot accidentally rob them. She, in a fit, sends TARDIS into space and time. She causes the Guyana Tragedy, the Iranian Hostage Crisis, and the Boleshievek Revoltion (and the Russian Czar's daughter looks like Eileen). They try to get back to Grad Day.

 

51-LAND OF THE MISTFALL-Dr. Jued of Cloutror invades Adric's dreams and sends the others through them. Kiko uses Indian rites to stop him but when they emerge--K-9 is a real dog. They must reverse this.

 

52-GENESIS OF THE CYBERMEN-a good scientist on Mondos tries to restore a friend's body. He inadvertently creates the Cybermen in doing this. Adric tries to warn and then stop him. Horrified, the scientist tries to destroy the Cybermen but he is killed. Adric looks at them, "You killed your god."

 

53-THE RETIRING TYPE-An elderly couple named the Cristellas are aliens with small ambitions--to control a smal town. They are from an overcrowded world and want quiet. Using an alien bull, snake, gorilla, vulture, lion, rat pack, and a shark which can go into swimming pools, they control the people in a small town in the Mid West. Tardis breaks down there. The Cristellas small spy lizard gets inside it. Everyone is eventually captured except Adric who invades their small hut like home with a patio on the front. Underneath it is a huge catacombs of torture where Eileen, Kevin, and Kiko are strung up beneath spikes where ropes burn to release the spikes. It is almost Grad Day.

 

54-ONE SPARK CAN MEAN A LOT-1982-The Washington Monument-a man, says he has dynamite and will blow up the Monumanet unless there is a peaceful disarmament, and he gets and holds the sight seeing Grandma and Franky. Government men hold Kiko and Kevin. The man is shot in the end and dies. He did not have real dynamite. The crew try to get to Grad Day. 

 

55-THROWN TOGETHER-1877-Kiko helps the Nez Perce Indians escape the calvary while Adric helps a wounded and dying Merican. The TARDIS crew still try to return to Grad Day.

 

56-TOO FAR TO DOCUMENT-The far past-Bowlar is the last of a good race of werewold vampire people who lived off the natural blood lakes of their alternate Earth. Bowlar was put in a tomb by evil, super Egyptians who worship a living pyramid. It came from space. Adric and group help an old man and a young boy revive Bowlar to sto the pyramid. Bowlar seems to die. But his hand moves at the end of the adventure just as the TARDIS leaves.

 

57-THE SHORT LIFE OF LITTLE FRANKY-1970's in the England countryside: the Mods versus Tape Todd. Tape Todd saves Franky from a Mod Bomber. They stage his funeral to capture the crook.

 

58-OTHERS LIKE ME-Adric attempts to free all the Doctor's past companions who were captured by Omega.

 

59-THE PAST FOUND OUT-Adric meets a young Doctor and his father. The father turns out to be the Master. The Master, for trying to revolt with a group of evil enemies from a prison ship such as a Dalek, a Sontaran, a Cyberman, and many other Time Lords such as the Monk and Morbius, has his family killed. Adric gets the Doctor and his baby granddaughter Susan to a TARDIS with the help of the Rani. Borusa is responsible and also traps Omega.

 

60-MIXTURE-Adric helps Sarah Jane Smith find her kidnapped Brendon ward and her version of K-9 III. Witches put Adric and Brendon's spirits and bodies together.

 

61-INVASION OF EDUCATION-In March of 1984, Aliens invade the high school, causing choas. It is the Master who controls Krongi, Merican, and Tape Todd to capture and then torture Adric. Krongi who was never controlled, turns on the Master. Todd and Merican help Adric escape. Adric gets the Master's Tissue Compression Unit but cannot kill him since the Master saved him from death once before. The Master escapes and gets Nyssa and the Fifth Doctor. Adric has to decide what to do: save the Doctor who abandoned him or not.

 

62-HARDLY A PEER-Krongi escapes. By having them answer a distress call from Adric's device, Doctor One and his granddaughter Susan get Franky, K-9, and Grandma to come along to Gallifrey where they help Leela and Andred stop Krongi who freed the Monk, a Sontaran, a Dalek who were on the prison ship ready to be transferred to Shada. Grandma wants to get back to Earth to help the others prepare for Grad Day. The first Doctoe liked Grandma a great deal.

 

63-A LIFE FOR A LIFE-Grandma returns with K-9 and Franky. Adric is approached at night in TARDIS by the Master who tells him as payment for his life he must kill Doctor 5. He sets TARDIS for a planet where he knows Doctor 5 and Nyssa are. Adric goes there with Eileen hiding on TARDIS. He discovers they are in Castrovalva. Adric finds Doctor 5, Nyssa and Tegan in a neural net. Doc 5 and Adric argue over his death. Adric blames Doctor 5 for his death and that he owes the Master. Adric returns to the Master's TARDIS but it is really a shadow. The real Adric who almost did kill the Doctor, frees the three and with Eileen's help, gets back to TARDIS. Omega helps free the TARDIS, feeling mecy for them all. Olivir tells Adric he is in love with Nyssa but Adric is too. Eileen meets Tegan finally.

 

64-HARSHNESS-VARSHNESS-Adric gets Doc 5, Tegan, and Nyssa back to their times: Tegan to Heathrow, Nyssa to Terminus with Olivir, and Doc 5 back to Peri on Androzani. Doc 5 apologizes to Adric and the boy asks if he'd do it differently. He says he would have. Adric and Eileen leave but end up on a bleak world where the Master brings Varsh to Adric. He tells him he will return Varsh to Adric and even his parents if he will kill the Doctor. Adric refuses. The Master kidnaps him and puts him on and leaves him on a planet where he is a slave. At certain times, Adric notices the slaves then become masters and the masters become slaves. He tries to instigate a riot and gets some good people killed. He finds he cannot change the culture here. The Master tells him that this is what the Doctor does to planetary cultures and he leaves Adric to his fate in an arena of gladiators. Eileen steers the TARDIS for the first time with ease and gets Adric away. Eileen tells him she only has a half day to get to Graduation.

 

65-NEVER TOO VARSH-The Master sends Adric and Eileen, who want to get back to Grad Day again, to the Rani's planet where the people who worship her have Doctor 7 and Ace. Adric uses the Master to fake a sacrifice but he frees the Doctor while Eileen frees Ace and pilots the TARDIS. They escape. Adric cries over Varsh. Varsh's ghost comes to him and solidifies, telling him to be comforted that he did the correct thing. Eileen finds Grandma, Kiko, Kevin, K-9, and Franky are all tied up in a room in the TARDIS by the Master. Adric changes his lock.

 

66-DAY OF THE DRESSED IN BLACK-In all the excitement they forgot about Grad Day. Krongi and the Master invades one day from Grad Day. Now all are once again in space and time trying to find Grad Day. They return but everyone is too tired to care. Adric takes the TARDIS to the vortex where everyone can rest. They arrive a few hours before graduation. There, a bogus principal hands out fake diplomas. Adric recognizes it as Turlough but grabs all the diplomas and throws them away. Tegan had shown Adric a snapshot of Turlough. This is not Turlough: it is the Black Guardian, who angered and embarrassed, leaves. Everyone graduates. JUNE OF 1984

 

67-THE RIGHT AND WRONG KIND OF TRAINING-At a college, Eileen leaves the TARDIS. The KKK must be battled-the KKK has set up a training ground camp for young people--some of whom are offspring but some who are held against their will. Eileen needs her friends' help for this. Later she and Adric say good bye to each other. Simone leaves with Eileen who once saved her.  SEPT. OF 1984

 

68-THE IRS WILL GET YOU IF YOU DON'T WATCH OUT-Fisheating Creek, Florida-Kiko leaves the TARDIS to help young JD's work out their criminal sentences while Adric and the others are preoccupied stopping the Cristellas who use Men In Black suits dressed like the IRA with hats and all to control a small town near the swamp. These turn out to be robots. Adric uses swampman abilities to save the teens from drowning and to find the robots. The Cristellas in the mean time find a maid--Grandma who will do nicely as a peer and a slave.

 

69-BODIES FOR THE TAKING-Kevin leaves TARDIS to wrestle in Penn State College. Bodyguard plans to kill the Dean and a visiting military leader. Bodyguard hypnotizes Adric to wrestle. Kevin wrestles him by accident and loses because Adric uses his swamp abilities. Kevin must then save Adric from all the other wrestlers. Kevin must then wrestle Bodyguard away from the Dean.  

 

70-VALUE OF THE MEAN-On a beach Adric and Franky discover a colony of sadistic motorcycle cultists. Getting no help from the villagers, Grandma uses a boat to rescue them. Menudo helps Adric stop the cultists who held the townspeople in fear. Grandma and Franky leave the TARDIS to care for Franky's prenant mother. K-9 goes with them, leaving Adric alone again.    

 

71-THE STARS LINED UP FOR YOU-Depressed, Adric decides to try to find his parents. Instead he ends up on the Starliner just as it is about to crash. The Swamp heals him. He then finds Varsh in the cave, Varsh at the Starliner just before his death, Doctor 4, and Romana, and at each point he cannot change what happened to his older brother (older by three and a half years).

 

72-THE UNCONTENT FUTURE-Futilely, Adric still tries to find his parents and Varsh. TARDIS crashes through a forcefield on a remote island. Adric in a daze stumbles outside and men in white radiation suits get him. Adric wakes up in an underground bunker base where Chinese, Russian, American, and Japanese staff work. Chinese girl Mei-Ting is very friendly but will not answer any of his questions. He does find out the year is 1998. Adric manages to sneak out of his room and gets to the surface--horrible mutant men and women attack him. Adric escapes using some seamp call and his abilities, which still scare even him. The radiation suited men recapture him and bring him below. Scientists put him through torturous tests believing him to be a mutant. Mei-Ting finds this out and goes up to the mutants wo almost kill her. Finally securing their help, she leads a revolt on the bunker to free Adric. The scientists are either killed or locked up. Adric recovers. Mei-Ting tells him that testing had been forbidden everywhere but on this island. A few mutants want to leave. Adric asks Mei-Ting to leave with him in the TARDIS but she feels she has to clean up on the island and send the locked up scientists and staff home to be tried. Adric leaves in TARDIS. Mei-Ting discovers the government knew about the project and sends the people home in a boat, unaware a few mutant people also left in a boat.      

 

73-SWAMPED DOWN-A ship of humans from a colony lands on a swamp planet which emits green slime. They turn into slime covered beings which seem to eat another human crew. Adric is summoned to Gallifrey to find out what caused it. Leela, against the Time Lord's wishes, goes with him. Engin and Spandrell brief them, falling asleep at times. On the planet, they are chased by slime covered people-who get into TARDIS-with Leela. Adric is outside. Leela tells them if they kill him he can't take them away and neither can she. Adric and the others come in--the beings just stand about. They tell him the swamp saved them from the crash and restored them. Adric reverts to a swamp mentality and fights Leela. The beings stop this. The second crew turn out to be plasma beings disguised as humans--sent to use the swamp for evil--like attacking Gallifrey. Adric says, "They intervene only when they're in danger."  More plasma beasts arrive and take over Adric who locks everyone in TARDIS. The beasts go in the swamp which Adric deelectrifies with a device he had. He then lets the beings out to devour the plasma things. To prove to Adric that she can indeed fly the TARDIS now, Leela flys it back to Gallifrey. Leela returns to her husband Andred. Spandrell, Engin, Leela, and Andred say good bye to Adric. The Time Lords want to question Adric about all that occured but he slips away.

 

74-I NEED A DOCTOR-Adric alone in his TARDIS, beings to get very depressed and moody. He decides to remain in the Vortex forever. He tries to sleep but cannot. The TARDIS console, locked to his consciousness, emits the First Doctor and Susan, then the Second Doctor and Jamie, the Third Doctor and Jo Grant, the Fourth Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith, the Fifth Doctor and Nyssa, the Sixth Doctor and Peri, the Seventh Doctor and Ace--who tell him things he needs to hear. Adric goes to a planet and saves the First Doctor and Susan from a Dalek firing squad. Then he helps Jamie, the Second Doctor from the Yeti in an underground tunnel in London, then the Third Doctor and Jo away from the Master and Ogrons near a volcano, the Fourth Doctor and Sarah away from Sutekh who tried to return, the Fifth Doctor and Nyssa away from Cybermen, the Sixth Doctor and Peri away from the Rani and Sil, and the Seventh Doctor and Ace away from more Bannermen.

 

75-SPIRIT FLIGHT--ANOTHER TIMEFLIGHT-Adric's spirit is lifted and becomes trapped in another Adric in another universe. Here, he finds himself reliving his last moments on the Freighter, but the Doctor saves him instead of the Master. Thus in the Xeraphin incident it is he who gets the Tardis to work again and away from Kalid-the Master II. 1982.  

 

76-THE UNFINISHED ARC OF INFINITY-Still trapped in the other Adric and finding little control over what he says or does or is allowed to say, Adric finds himself having had a fight with the Fifth Doctor and missing the leaving Tardis. Tegan also is left behind and tries to find Adric--who is captured by Omega along with Tegan's cousin Colin, who helped find Adric and did find him. Tegan is also caught by Omega who uses this against the Doctor, Nyssa, and Borusa. 1983. 

 

77-NYSSA DANCE-ANOTHER SNAKEDANCE-Adric makes an attempt to return his own body in his TARDIS but it fails and he ends up in the youong Chela on Manussa. As Chela he frees and helps Nyssa and the Fifth Doctor. After Tegan is freed from the Mara's control, Adric as Chela, finds himself able to profess his love for Nyssa but she cannot feel the same way. She tells him the one she loved is in the TARDIS. Adric finds himself unable to tell her he is Adric. They leave him on Manussa and he can't get out of Chela. 31st century.

 

78-TURLOUGH DEAD, MAWDRYN UNDEAD-Adric finally gets out and his spirit rejoins the Adric body that is with the Doctor, Tegan, and Nyssa. Adric joins the Doctor in visiting the Brigadier in 1983 but Tegan and Nyssa meet him and a fake Doctor in 1977. Turlough goes along as an agent of the Black Guardian. Adric knowing from TARDIS records that Turlough is going to be stuck on the spaceship by the Black Guardian tries to get Turlough off the ship, even though he doesn't like him but Turlough gets blown up in the resulting explosion on Mawdryn's spaceship. The Black Guardian now tries to possess Adric by threatening to send him back to the Freighter but in another universe--one where he did die--for good. 1983.

 

79-TERMINAL TERMINUS-Adric and Tegan try to reach The Doctor and Nyssa during their time on the Terminus spacestation. Adric goes spirit hopping and ends up in the body of Olvir, who saves Nyssa from the robotic Garm who is really quite kind. Nyssa gets the disease but but when Adric hops back into his Adric body, his mathematical skill finds a cure and he convinces her to leave with the Doctor and Tegan rather than stay on the station. The Doctor drops off Olivir and Kari to their own spaceship. During that time, Adric has a fight with Olvir, who asks Nyssa to sleep with him. 2472.

 

80-SPIRITUAL ENLIGHTENMENT-Adric, the Doctor, and Tegan have an adventure while Nyssa remains on the TARDIS. The Black Guardian is still using Adric to try to kill the Doctor along with the Eternal Capt. Wrack who tries to kill Adric as well. Adric turns on the Guardian and manages to tell them what is happening to him. The White Guardian straightens out the mess the Black Guardian and the Eternals made but at a cost: no one will remember what is happening to Adric-not even him.

 

81-THE KING'S ADRIC-Adric, Tegan, and the Doctor face Sir Giles Estram in 1215 where King John is acting odd. The man is really the Master who is using Kamelion, a shape changing robot to cause the barons to turn against the King and prevent the signing of the Magna Carta.

 

82-THE FIVE DOCTORS AND THE TWO ADRICS-The Doctor, Adric, Nyssa, and Tegan are drawn from the Eye of Harmony to Gallifrey where they meet Doctors One, Two, and Three as well as Susan Foreman-the Granddaughter of the Doctor, Sarah Jane Smith and The Brigadier. Also vying for the Dark Tower-the tomb of Rassalon in the Game of Death in the Death Zone are the Cybermen, one Dalek, the Raston Warrior Robot who guards the tomb, and others. The Time Lords send the Master II to help them but he becomes greedy but is knocked out by the Brig. The real culprit who is stealing the Doctors and companions from out of time and after the power of Rassalon's tomb is Borusa. As a favor to Adric, Rassalon returns his memory but cannot stop the other restrictions put on him. 1983.

 

83-ADRIC AND THE WARRIORS OF THE DEEP-Adric, Tegan, and The Doctor face the Silurians, the Sea Devils, and their monster the Mykra in the year 2084 AD when they try to retake the Earth and first attack and undersea installation.

 

84-ADRIC'S AWAKENING-Tegan, Nyssa, and the Doctor visit Tegan's grandfather and find an evil creature the Malus instigating war games to turn into the real thing as a link to the time 1643-the English Civil War. Adric trying to get into his body again is sidetracked into the body of Will Chandler-a boy from 1643 and with Adric's influence Will helps the Doctor but kills Sir George who was under the influence of the Malus. Adric must get back to his body before the TARDIS crew drop off Will in 1643. ALSO 1984.

 

85-FRONTIOS AND CENTER-Adric is captured by the Tractators on Frontios in the far future on a colony of Earth survivors--Earth is gone. Tegan and the Doctor face the Gravis to get him back and free the colonists from these body stealing monster aliens. past 37,166.

 

86-ADRIC AND THE RESURRECTION OF THE DALEKS-The future and the 20 Century become linked by a time corridor of the Daleks. The Daleks use Lytton, a mercenary, to find Davros under the command of the Black Dalek. They want to neutralize a virus made by the Movellans. Also they use Stein-a replica human to get the Doctor. Their plan is to attack and destroy the High Council on Gallifrey. The Doctor cannot kill Davros but he turns Stein around. Adric convinces Stein to destroy the prison and the Dalek ship in an explosion. When the Doctor tells him that it must have been horrible to die in an explosion, Adric tells him, "It is. I know it is."  Tegan, tired of all the violence, leaves. Lytton stays in the 20th Century. Adric realizes this and tried to spirit hop to stop him but gets stuck in the body of Peri! 1984. 27th century.

 

87-ADRIC'S ATTACK ON THE CYBERMEN-The Sixth Doctor and Adric in Peri's body, stop the Cybermen on Earth in 1985, and on Mondas where they have enslaved ice people called the Cryons. During this, Adric manages to get into the Doctor's body as well and doesn't like it at all. The Cybermen wanted to stop the destruction of Mondas by the First Doctor. Lytton gets converted by the Cybermen-who the Doctor thought was helping them. Adric gets back to the Adric body with the Fifth Doctor and Nyssa.

 

88-ADRIC ON THE PLANET OF FIRE-After swimming in Australia, on the planet Sarn, Nyssa and Adric help the Fifth Doctor against Kamilion who turns on them all, impersonationg Varsh, Tremas, and Susan. The Master is behind it and he has been accidentally shrunk. He needs to activate a volcano for the power. Roskal asks Nyssa to stay with him but she refuses.

 

89-ADRIC IN THE CAVES OF ANDROZANI-Nyssa gets Spectrox Toxemia-a sickness that will kill her unless the Doctor and Adric find some bat's milk to make the cure-Spectrox. They both encounter Sheraz Jek, a disfigured and mad scientist who has the cure and who can make more and who rescues Nyssa and the Doctor. His androids protect everything in the caves. The worst threat comes from Stotz, a gun runner under the employ of Morgan--who have Adric. Adric gets free but the Doctor gets caught but crashes the gun runner ship back on Androzani. Nyssa is cured but Adric trying to get back into his own body, gets caught in the Doctor's instead. Due to this and the fact that he too is sick, The Doctor regenerates into the Sixth Doctor. Adric saves Sheraz Jek who becomes their companion. 45th century.

 

90-VARIOUS VENGEANCES ON VAROS-While the Doctor picks new clothes and acts strange with Nyssa, Adric goes out to find Zyton 7 for the TARDIS and is captured and Jek goes out to find out by whom. On mining planet Varos, the descendants of criminally insane have needed Zyton 7. Adric is captured by them and tortured for a TV show but Sheraz Jek goes off to rescue him. Going through a regeneration crisis, the Sixth Doctor attacks Nyssa who are now alone in the TARDIS--and the Doctor abandoned Jek and Adric. Nyssa convinces the new Doctor to find them both and help. Sil appears.

 

91-THE MARK OF THE ADRANI-Adric finds himself momentarilly shifted into the body of a woman in the past at the time of the Luddite uprisings. A meeting of famous people is to be interrupted by the Master II who runs afoul of the woman-the Rani who is conducting experiments, extracting the fluid that causes sleep and turning them into mindless zombies. The Master has them throw the TARDIS down a well. The Master sets about preventing the Industrial Revoltion after stealing the Rani's fluid. The Rani changes a young man into a tree by accident--it was meant for the Doctor. The Doctor rescues Nyssa and Adric from both the Rani and the Master and traps them in the Master's TARDIS and as it shakes they are stuck in it with a rapidly growing Tyrannosaur Rex empbryo. Nyssa and Adric discuss leaving the Doctor before it is too late. 1825 AD

 

92-THE TWIN AND COMPANION DILEMMA-Adric, Nyssa, and Jek help when twin blonde boys named Romulus and Remus are kidnapped by Mestor, a slug like life form who holds the planet of Jaconda in fear and slavery. Mestor had a Time Lord named Azmael--who knew the Doctor--kidnap them. The plan: use their mathematical genius to throw the planet into its sun and thereby spread all Mestor's eggs over the Universe. Azmael dies after a mental battle with Mestor--helping the Doctor to live the battle. Adric uses his math skills to save the planet at the last moment, reversing the twins' work. The Doctor is still not acting right from his last rengeneration. Jek helps stop the alien Jaconda servants and soldiers of Mestor--very batlike looking aliens who scared the unstable Doctor. Adric and Nyssa take the twins home with the Doctor and Jek. They take the boys swimming with the permission of their parents and Adric and Nyssa decide to remain on Earth in Australia in 2310--a beautiful part of the future Earth. While swimming, Adric saves a young girl named Peri, who Nyssa is jealous of. Peri and Jek, who she is alittle afraid of, stay with the Sixth Doctor. In Australia, they meet descendants of Tegan Jovanka and stop a newly returned Salamander from a new takeover. Later, Adric manages to get back into his own body just as he and Nyssa were about to have sex.   

 

93-THE SEARCH IS STILL ON-Adric decides not to brood anymore. He will find his parents. He sets out to find his parents. Adric lands in a jungle where primitive savages attack him. He figures he is sometime in Earth's past in the southern borders of Turkey. He finds a war going on between the Amazons and the once friendly male tribe-the Gargareans. Adric is used by the Amazons for sex with many of them. One girl his age falls in love with him even though it is forbidden. Adric discovers atrocities on both sides of the war. He also finds out that the real killers and instigators of the war are the savage man and woman beasts that first attacked him and he leads the women and men on an attack on the beast people. He asks they not be killed though. The Amazons lie to him and the girl helps him get away and he pulls her inside with him--her Amazons will kill her if she goes back, which she intends to do due to custom. He pulls her in with him and sets the TARDIS in motion.    

94-ADRIC AT ATHENS-Adric goes to the time of 430 BC--the Poloponnesian War between Athens and Sparta. He is trained by a Spartan boy who is his age and will be forced to fight. Adric sneaks out with Raya's help and goes the city of Athens so he can try a peace settlement. A great plague hits the Athens, trapping them in the city so that they lose the war and many die. Raya tells Adric that a sickness hit their people in Turkey once but they got over it. Adric figures that if this sickness got to him and mixed with alien sicknesses and colds from another place he has been to-it could effect the people here in a deadly fashion. Adric finds a cure for it in mathematical equation with the help of Hippocrates. Adric saves the Spartans from the disease but they do not believe he did it and want to kill him. The boy who knows it is true helps him get away and Adric saving his people is now owed by him. He will stay with Adric until he has paid his debt-he must save Adric now. He will not leave his side until he does. Adric and Raya, arguing with him, go into the TARDIS but can't keep him out. They leave and Nikkolas goes with them. 

 

95-MARADRIC-Adric visits Manussa and Chela and the others including Lon who Adric likes. When he wears Lon's clothes, he is taken over by the Mara who is angered by earlier encounters with Adric and the Doctor. Adric becomes the planet's terror as he begins to kill and destroy. Raya and Nikkolas must find a way to stop him without killing him and find a way to stop the people from killing Adric. Adric's swamp qualities touch base with an entity that influenced the swamp men and women on Alzarius--and it proves to be a match for the Mara and as old. Adric tells Nikkolas that his debt is paid but the boy won't be told--he will help Adric find his parents or die in the attempt.   

 

96-A SECOND CHANCE TO DIE-Adric finds out that the Daleks, the Sontarans, and the Cybermen are combining forces in a future time and Adric is determined to stop them espeically when he finds the Doctors and his companions have been taken out of time by the Master who is helping the three races to conquer the universe. His next step: Gallifrey. Raya and Nikkolas stop Adric from sacrificing himself to destroy the fleets of the invaders.

 

199-ADRIC'S WAR-Incorporated from another zine-After meeting the Sixth Doctor and the Third Doctor and seeing the Third change into the Fourth, Adric remains with UNIT after fighting the Master with the Brig, Sergeant Benton, and some new found friends of his--a boy and a girl who are brother and sister. 

 

200-THE THIRTEENTH ONE-Adric helps the Twelveth Doctor-a fat one and the Brig stop the Silurians on Earth not long after the Morgaine encounter in the late 80's. The Doctor and the Brig are caught in the explosion that the Doctor causes to stop the mad Silurians and the Doctor melds with the Brig to become a Brig-Doctor. The Brig's wife Doris goes with the Brig when he goes into the TARDIS, hoping to find some remenant of her husband within the Doctor.
