  DOCTOR WHO-BOOM  spoilers Hmmm. Let’s see. SWAT is looking really great tonight. High stakes, intrapersonal relationship issues, huge action, realistic people and characters, and followed by FIRE COUNTRY and then the always excellent BLUE BLOOD.   After last week’s two episode disaster, if this week’s DOCTOR WHO is awful, I have some tough choices to make about giving up on 2024 DOCTOR WHO and a character I’ve followed for five decades (and not just on TV: in comics, books, audios, and role playing) and an actor I really admire and love. Let’s see if this is written by RTD if I should go into it wary. Oh, wait, this is Moffat’s? Gosh, hell naw.   Okay, it looked more serious and I can’t deal with the 6 minute to 8 minute of advertising on watching live TV so I guess I’ll give this torturous Doctor Who show another go, another try. Things new DOCTOR WHO fans think that are sort of wrong and my response to the TEN MISTAKES video. What and why do new fans think these things?

 Here is my response to a video "THE TEN MISTAKES OF DOCTOR WHO by show runners who admit them" or something like that. Good editing on the video but this lady and her mistakes irk me. She seems to think that Time Lord is something that was always a part of DOCTOR WHO> it was not. Regeneration, 12 lives, the planet Gallifrey, two hearts, and most of the current things most fans think are and have always been a part of Doctor Who most didn't start until SIX years after the show began and a majority didn't start until the 11th season, 11 YEARS IN. New fans need to get their history right.  First more history:  At first, the Doctor wasn't touted as a Time Lord or even an alien. Nor was Susan. Sort of. The first "regeneration" wasn't called that. It was called a rejuvenation, suggesting Troughton was a younger Hartnell.  The second "regeneration" was just a forced change by the Time Lords who made the Doctor change his appearance.  ALL THE WRONG NOTES:  DOCTOR WHO s1e2: THE DEVIL’S CHORD   I’ve seen on line on FB that fans are calling this better than SPACE BABIES. No, it’s not. If anything it’s worse.   There are apparently no rules to story telling now. The Maestro is potentially a great villain and a wonderful idea, a being that eats music and kills with notes. Yet, later “they”---that’s the pronoun of the villain---CREATE music. Even though they can kill with notes, John Lennon and Paul McCartney save the day by making music just as the Doctor tried and Ruby tried earlier several times to do and stop “them”---the Maestro, not John and Paul. Really this pronoun shit is confusing and annoying. Hell, BLUE BLOOD is on and that’s supremely better than this shit.   The Doc is, at first afraid of the Maestro and says he cannot fight them. Until, he’s not afraid and then he somehow knows the chord or the music or…maybe it’s me missing something….until he has a bum note. But John a...
