WHY I love AVATAR THE LAST AIRBENDER and HATE KORRA, the series.

 WHY I love THE original animated AVATAR THE LAST AIRBENDER and loathe the series KORRA (but not the character). I don't hate the character at all. It's the show I hate. I think I tried the first two episodes and hated it all. I found it boring, I loved AVATAR THE LAST AIRBENDER animated series. I loved the humor, the action, the setting, the way the 'ERA" was presented, the serious issues, the artwork, and the relationships between the characters. I loved the entire thing and loved that it was sort of ancient times. KORRA changed ALL of that. I could not relate to or like the characters at all. Maybe I didn't give it a chance at the outset but I still won't. I love the Avatar universe and have the dvds but not sure why. I will never watch them. In addition to wanting more of Aang and his friends (we had them in the graphic novels and comic which were nice but AVATAR is best as an animated TV series and NOT comics and NOT live action) so I really felt angered that instead of THAT we got KORRA and this show set in the future of Aang and worse than that: Aang was dead and had to be in order for KORRA to be the avatar. I hate that. I still hate that. I don't like all the mech that populates the KORRA era either. If that's not enough to hate KORRA's show and not her character, I don't know what is. Nickelodeon was a bunch of (A*&^^@# not to give AANG and friends at least another season or two or three or four...but maybe it's best we have three seasons of perfection. KORRA? nope. Not interested. No real connection to those characters or that section of that universe (I consider a totally separate universe from THE LAST AIRBENDER TV series animated even more than the live action and the horrid movie).
