  DAYS OF OUR LIVES   S59 e112- date: 1-30-2024     Time Frame: Jan   2024 maybe, in the morning. I’ve barely been watching everything from the last review to now as it’s been peaceful in Salem and conversely (?) it’s boring.     Reprise: not sure, I skip a lot of the boring characters.   Good moments: Everything with Leo, everything with Ava; Johnny being sensible and worrying about Stefan cheating on Gabi?   Great acting: everything with Ava and actually everyone this episode, even the ones I tend to skip.   The FFT (fast forward through) and the skippable: Lots. Everything with Kayla and Patch. In bed. Eating. “It was a rough night baby. I was out with John.”   Ugh. FF through everything with Paulina as any story with the C word is too depressing to watch. Did I catch that she had a false alarm and she’s okay now? Stephanie and Chanel. You’ve been warned, unless you want some sleep, skip them.   ...

  THE X FILES-3-SQUEEZE   “This looks like an X File.”   “Maybe you won’t have to be Mrs. Spooky anymore.”   “But I am officially assigned to the X Files.”   “You said Mulder was out there. That guy’s insane.”   “In our investigations, you may not always agree with me but at least you respect the journey.”   “Look, Dana, whose side are you on?” “The victims’.”   “So what is this, the anti Waltons?”       A killer that can fit thought the smallest of vents? That wants to eat human livers? Tooms is the most vile or one of the most vile villains in X FILES and TV history. It’s made more creepy by the fact that he passes the lie detector test in one of the only scenes where he speaks and it’s monotone.   THE LOST CIVILIZATION WRITER-WILLIAM WELCH DIR-DON RICHARDSON   NARRATION: Last week, as you recall, the men of our small space colony had left the Jupiter II in search of vitally needed water, unaware that their course was leading them directly into a terrifying uncharted valley of volcanos.   TEASER-fully recapped, opening narration different...   Robot warns, "Danger! Danger! Volcano about to erupt!"   John is driving the Chariot; Don tells him to pull over (in the middle of a volcano?); the ground sparks. Robot turns to see lava flowing their way. "Lava approaching! Lava approaching!"   Robot says this once more. John informs them they are stuck. Will yells, "Lookout!"   A rock ball of flame shoots right at the Chariot window and John and Don duck back. The ball of flame shoots past the Chariot. Will tells them the lava is gettin' closer.
