  THE WAR BETWEEN THE LAND AND THE SEA Ep 3 and 4: THE DEEP and THE WITCH OF THE WATERFALL   Spoilers for this crappy POS show.   Wow. Okay, it was never going to last, was it? These two episodes are so absolutely awful, I can’t understand what went south so fast, so soon. Ep3 starts off as if it will be a retread of the SEA DEVILS and in a way, it’s a slower paced version that ends in disaster for the sea devils and five of the humans that risk their lives to go to the meeting under the sea in some organic submersible or something? An old guy, we later find out was dying of cancer, brought the sea devils a gift…   …it’s a Sersomething or other and not a globe gift at all. It destroys the sea devils and the man and the others but Salt, somehow manages to envelope Barclay and swim to the surface. What about the bends? How was that old stupid man able to smuggle such a weapon. Who was he anyway? We seem to have skipped a whole lot and we have more ambassa...

  KOLCHAK EXTRAS-ANTHOLOGY Summer In Rome Date of Publication: 1-11-2025 June 5, 1944.   The Shot Heard Round The World Note: Carl loses his job in Washington DC. Carl a sports reporter in Spring of 1959. Carl saves a dog, a mascot to a baseball team and the dog is named Roscoe. Kathy appears. She believes Carl’s stories.   The Devil’s Chapel 1940: Carl sustained minor injuries as he was on one of the last boats out of Dunkirk. He convalesced in the home of war widow Elizabeth Parry that summer of 1940. They lose touch.   1993: Liz writes Carl. 1995: Liz moves back to Wales. Llanuwchllyn is a town near Bala Lake. Late 1996: Liz and Carl talk about him spending the summer there. July 1997: Carl leaves behind his 1966 Mustang at Miami International and flew to England.   Carl meets Liz’s 19 year old grand son Andrew who has come to stay with her because he had a falling out with his parents over him being gay.
