  DOCTOR WHO-TIME HEIST “No, I’m an amnesiac robbing a bank, why would I be okay?”   “Oh is that why you call yourself the Doctor? Professional detachment.”   God, no. Please, no. Don’t make me watch this. I have to say the last time I watched this (the one and only), I found I didn’t care about one single aspect of this except maybe one of the guest starring roles/actors. I found it boring, cliché, and trying too hard to be OCEAN’S ELEVEN, either old or new.   I didn’t care about the Doctor, Clara, or the situation. Not even during the McCoy Era the first time round did I care LESS. I wanted DW to just end and put me out of my obsession with a show that had gone dragging on from 2009 to 2014 without many good episodes and without merit but with a low quality of tone, script, dialog and care.   Danny.   DOCTOR WHO-the extra, super duper brave rewatch of the MOFFAT ERROR: this time:   Season 8: Episode 4: LISTEN   “Well, I couldn’t have written it and forgotten, can I?”   “Have you met you?”   “He took my bedspread.” “Ahh, the human race, you’re never happy, are you?”   “People don’t need to be scared by a big grey haired stick insect but here you are, stay still, shut up.”     “Do you have your own mood lighting now because frankly, the accent is enough.”     The first time I watched this I was enthralled by the idea and the execution…until the middle. Then, I realized I was being duped by Moffat who was trying to once more scare us with something usual. He hit pay dirt in BLINK but I still theorize that RTD DID (despite what RTD wrote that he did not) rewrite Moffat to make Moffat SUPERIOR to everything else in the RTD era.   CHARMED s2 episodes 1-6       The show hasn’t lost a thing in season two and just keeps getting better and better. The comic timing of all three leads is perfect and their personalities comes to the fore. The first one WITCH TRIAL, is a sort of celebration of the first year, marking the anniversary of them getting their powers (back as they had them when they were kids in the weak episode THAT 70S EPISODE). It also brings back older villains and it’s a nice episode.   The second episode, MORALITY BITES, is a bit weak, another time   travel episode which should be great but sort of isn’t. Phoebe in a future that may never be, killed a criminal (a killer) and is waiting for her execution by fire. Everyone knows about and hates witches in a sort of bigoted future in a cautionary tale.
